EEAAO is terrific. Original with some great action scenes and special effects that put some movies with 10 times it's budget to shame.
The hardest "punches" in the movie are the emotional hits.
EEAAO is actually relevant to the conversation about how it's much easier on special effects teams to work with directors that have some know-how about CGI.
The Daniels are used to working with special effects and low budgets so they get very creative.

I think that might have been the case when he decided to shoot tangerine on an iPhone 5s. But I'm sorry you can't love one of the current GOAT film makers.
Red rocket is certainly not a very sharp looking film, but it got its #aesthetic, which could be equated to ugly. But i think it works for it and his style using none actors and all.

I didn't love it tbh. Not Swiss army man either. Decent films, but eeaao miles better.

Tom Hanks reminded me of Goldmember from Austin Powers when he was walking around that fucking awful CGI casino lmao. One of the most bizarre acting performances I have ever seen on screen.
Austin Butler and the musical performances were the best aspects of the film. Everything else was so bad/done so poorly.

He’s in some good shit - MiB, ID4, EotS, Hitch, BBII are all great fun - but compared to other ‘world’s biggest movie stars’ like Cruise, he has never been in a genuinely great flick, or even a great in his genre.
Cruise has Magnolia, Eyes Wide Shut, MI6
Travolta has Pulp Fiction and Blow Out
Schwarzenegger has Terminator and T2
Carrey has Eternal Sunshine and Truman Show

Fresh Prince is one of the great TV shows though. Not just in its genre. It's just fucking great.
Agreed on Fresh Prince, it’s brilliant and as good as any of those films. Just a shame he has never had the movie career to back it up.

The original Terminator is a much better film than the sequel and anything else Cameron has done. Aliens is the one that’s actually not that good.

i have lots of friends called Will
I actually think Smith is great. He should have had a much better film career because he’s very capable of it. Would have loved to see him in Django Unchained. He’s a better actor than any of the names I listed above.
Will never plays villains or shady characters due to wanting to protect his image - really limited his choices and roles.
