By FootbalIFan Go To PostI just wanna watch a good easy to follow plot movie that's not 2+ hours long
Why is it so hard
imo go watch some sean bakers films. easy to follow and sensational films. the florida project is less than two hours and red rocket is only just over 2 hours with a few minutes.

Tangerine is certainly his third best. Red rocket and florida project are pretty close to each other for me, but I think florida project wins out. Starlet was just alright
By s y Go To PostFrom Apple, looks like shitam I crazy or is the main character in these kind of movies always making the same expression
perpetual wide eyes, eyebrows always curved slightly up in a "sad" way, mouth always just a little bit open
i guess I blame disney
I gotta check out the sea beast, heard nothing but recommendations
Halloween Kills was bad, like Halloween 4 bad. So I have no hope for this one, especially according to the leaked script.
But it’s not expected to shower Hall H with an embarrassment of riches like it did in 2019; some sources believe Marvel is saving it all up for Disney’s fan convention D23 during the second weekend of September, specifically in regards to new projects. There’s still stuff we haven’t seen, specifically the Fantastic Four reboot, Mahershala Ali in The Blade, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (due May 5), The Marvels (July 28, 2023) and The Mutants. So I have to wait until September to watch Feige march Hugh Jackman's dusty ass on stage huh
The Blade
Rewatching Spidey 2. So good. No superhero action for the opening 25 minutes. Film is about Peter and not Spiderman. Great shit. The Doc Ock surgery scene is an all timer.
The bit in FFH when Happy comes to pick Peter up in the helicopter and fucks up all the farmed tulip fields still pisses me off. Working class hero of the people turns to elitist FUCK

Nope cost 70 mil???
I thought it would be in the same vein as Us, low budget huge return. Guess Kaluuya isn't really a low-budget actor anymore

Way more CGI presumably given aliens and shit
Look I'm sure it SOUNDS like these movies are descending in quality, all while getting longer and more expensive, but
I liked Us. Messy as fuck and makes little sense logically, but it was ambitious, tense, well acted - Nyongo is doing WORK.
Flawed sophomore effort, but I’d rather a million of those than some boilerplate dull bullshit.

By bud Go To Posti’m sure us got great reviews as well…That's fair, just don't think he's on any kind of losing streak. There's always something interesting about them.
By Daz Go To PostI swear some of you get off on wanting things to flop or people to fail.
SERIOUSLY, movie isn't even fuckin' out yet lol
By n8 dogg Go To PostWay more CGI presumably given aliens and shitAlso was filmed fully with IMAX cameras which is more expensive.
Movie won't flop unless word of mouth is really bad.
It's tracking for a 50M$ opening weekend in the US and won't have much competition next week. In terms of big releases for the coming weeks, only Bullet Train has the potential to hit big in the box office.
I think the pic in the caption already got it spot on. Cinema Paradiso is a masterpiece and should be watched by everyone.
The ending to China Syndrome is super intense and still sticks with me, but I'm not very well versed in movies.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostThe Mist fucked me upThat ending.... 😐
Love Killing Them Softly, love the Mist
Last 15/20 of Uncut Gems my favourite in recent memory. Whiplash too.

By Daz Go To PostLove the mist, hate the ending.Complete opposite for me. I'm meh about the rest of the film but love the ending. Great decision by Frank Darabont to choose a different ending from the book.
Poor decision-making all around.
