Thor: Love and Thunder was an absolute mess.
The more I think about it the more I dislike it :lol. Painfully unfunny humour that permeated throughout. More whiplash from the tonal mismatch than from the 4DX cinema I was in. And so much more.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople is a tremendous film. Waititi is in that phase of his career where people are gonna go back to his early stuff and say "it wasn't that good"?

Haven’t seen Boy (but it’s got good reviews), Eagle vs Shark is decent, and I’m in the minority in thinking Ragnarok is boring. Hell, Jojo (despite me thinking it was dogshit) got lots of raves and won an Oscar. I’d say the consensus on Waititi more veers towards L&T being his only bad movie.
Considering Meus was paying strangers to go and see Fantastic 4 because people were being mean to it online, him walking out on a movie means it's either the worst movie ever made or a masterpiece.

I enjoyed The Black Phone more than the consensus around here, mainly due to a strong third act.
