even though he was miles offside, used that advantage, it is a new fase and therefore a goal
This is the most well connected portuguese sports journalist. Says that Vítor Pereira will arrive in England tomorrow, deal has been closed to be the next Everton manager.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostSince leaving Porto 9 years ago, he's managed in Saudi Arabia, Greece, Turkey, German fourth division, Turkey (again), winning the Greek league and Chinese league in that time.

Proper John Toshack stuff. Journeyman.
Edit: just googled to see if John Toshack worked those countries. Portugal (Sporting Lisbon), Turkey (Besiktas), Greece (Macedonia NT).
he's a nothing manager whose claim to fame is beating another nothing manager but with good press.
good luck everton.

By Laboured Go To PostHappy Conte week everyone.Take him away to Man Utd, Horse. He’s just wasting away at lolspurs. #LevyOut
As well as deciding on who the new manager will be Arnold is also meeting ex players and trying to build relationships with them. He doesn't want them to be critical of him like they were with Woodward.
It looks like he has taken this up all wrong lessons. Woodward wouldn't have been criticised if United were winning matches and looked like a competently run football club.
And being honest, I don't want the club being beholden to ex players and the Class of 92. They know nothing about running a football club, coaching or anything else that's relevant. They'd just be another force of influence muddying things up even more.

Sums up Lukaku perfectly : when the finest of English cuisine meets the best of Italian food. Bangers on a pizza. Guy took his diet game to a whole other level since he came back to Chelsea.
By Frustrated_me Go To Post15 year old kid, apparently this years "next big talent"Horse posted some of his highlights last week. Ridiculous stuff. I saw a post on Reddit a few days prior to that which said Barca had offered 45m split over 3 payments and at the time it was like oh okay, going the Madrid route of recent note to sign a Brazilian wonderkid for huge money. It made a lot of sense after seeing it. Kid looks insane.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostKevin Mirallas to Moreirense. What a bizarre transfer.I guess it's only been a few years since he was at Everton, but I would have figured he was retired by now. Not as old as I suspected though. Maybe the biggest (at one point) name player I can remember signing for them.

Kid looks insane.Given the success we have had recently with Rodrygo and Vini I think Uncle Flo will make a big effort to pursue similar talents, this kid looks like a gem.
I'll note that not all signings work out, for example Reinier who was signed for 30m at 17 years old has not yielded positive results, though I have to say we should not have loaned him out to Dortmund, that was not the right club for the kid to flourish as he barely plays.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostGrealish is looking like a terrible transfer thus far. Am I wrong on this?Ruben Dias is probably about the only big player City have signed under Pep who just slotted in perfectly right from the start. Most of the other players take 6-12 months to really click. He's just adjusting to the style and new role. Obviously for the money involved it would have been nice to get more immediate results but it's a marathon and not a sprint.
@Wooden, how bad is Ruben Gabrielsen? I see he very rarely played for you guys while on loan. Austin just signed him.

Decent enough when it came to just defending. But an absolute disaster in the build up play. The lad can not pass the ball. Seems like a good guy though, good attitude and so on.
He was loaned as a backup, and was unlucky to be injured himself a few times, when other starters were injured or suspended.

Maybe he'll be better in a more settled/long-term environment.

Can European clubs stop buying young Brazilian players only to not play them and ruin their development?
Would like to know Lukaku's opinion in regards to Doner meat on Pizza. Proper Doner, not the minced shyte most places do.
