My New Years resolution was to get a new job before my daughter is born (in May). Landed it last week and starting my new work as UX consultant on Tuesday.

Don’t think we be selling anyone in the window but £40m-£50m would probably get some bums twitching.
Remember when I was mocked in here for bigging up Salisu after the spurs game. Fucking casuals
Haha United's terms for the Lingard loan would have meant we'd have paid 15 million for 6 months of his service, I mean I think he'd have been a great signing for us but I'm glad we're not going to be that stupid financially
By Laboured Go To PostGoing well.Ah the FM DM you get on the first day of your job.
Tomorrow: Welcome to Goodison Park Vitor Pereira
Our board are such dumb pricks, would make the Tories look like a very capable people in comparison.

You'll pay, I reckon.

Doesn't sound like we will, at least not on those terms. Wouldn't be surprised if we try to negotiate it (and get knocked back) though
By Laboured Go To PostWell. Fuck.
oh shit, pls no late twist
Guimarães fits the profile which a lot of the bigger clubs seem to want in a midfielder. Surprised nobody else was seriously in for him.
We're selling an 18 year old for almost 3m euros, who has failed to score in 19 league matches, to Sturm Graz (their club record). Meanwhile Brøndby are selling not just their top scorer, but the whole leagues top scorer for like 2.5m to Philadelphia Union.💀
At this stage I think it's clear that United don't want to sign anyone until the new permanent manager has been appointed. Don't want to risk another instance of signing a player who doesn't fit the new managers game plan. Although, I do think that someone like Haidara or Zakaria have qualities which would cross over to a number of different tactical systems.
There's going to be a huge number of departures after this season. Pogba, Lingard, Mata and Cavani all have contracts which expire. Martial and Jones will probably leave too. Maybe Bailly and Henderson as well. That's a lot of players to replace and a lot of money freed up to do so.

Never watched Bruno play (obviously who watches the Uber eats league)
All we can hope is he’s some way down the Adriano Kaka Pato path already

Clown stuff
By Patriotism Go To Postinfinite blood money and they balk at spending 16.5mil on jesse lol
Yeah mate paying nearly 20 million for 4 months of game time for a player we wouldn't own is pretty balk-worthy, it isn't the kind of financial precedent we should be setting for ourselves
By Perfect Blue Go To PostNewcastle is def staying up. Good for the league

Clearly people are just crossing the Mediterranean because there is not enough football.
Also heard that a two year World Cup will not only cure COVID but also cancer and wars will end because everyone will be too busy with the World Cup Qualification.
