By Plasma Go To PostHe picks them, he bought a lot of them, he's the one coaching them so it's on him. This is his squad, he's been backed by the board with transfers far more than Emery has and look at us we're no better now than we were when we sacked Wenger or Emery.I think sacking him would make some sense, but in terms of tonight, the players let him down with their finishing. That Nketiah miss is one of the worst I've seen in years and that would have given them a point.
7th place feels about right for Arsenal in general though. I'm not sure who they can bring in who changes that right now.
How shit must Arsenal be losing against these jokers with the help of VAR?
Imagine losing against Coleman who is supposed to retire years ago…

Our strikers are awful.
By Scum Go To PostShouldn't have been on the pitch in the first place. #ArtetaOutNketiah being brought on over Pepe was the ultimate indignity. Arteta should be embarrassed for that decision. I am not sure if he thinks playing him will get him to be more likely to sign a contract.. maybe it will, but why would you even want that? He's an absolute nothing player. They did get £30m+ out of Iwobi too though who is a similar nothing player so maybe he's being directed by the club to try and make them a buck.
By Freewheelin Go To PostWe have no game management, it's shockingHis resignation would do it ...
Arteta needs to fix that however he can.

Aubameyang is especially perplexing to me tbh because he’s still managing to get into great positions and having legit chances. Like if I had to think a few years back how he would start fading I would think his pace going away and no longer getting into good scoring positions.

arsenal have you heard of timo werner? good goalscoring record in the bundeslolga, would do well for you

Arteta can't fix this lol
It's been 3 years and we're losing matches the same as when he was hired, just like Ole he's reached his ceiling

tbf to Arsenal, they should've played that game against 10 men. No excuse for the performance, but this was an actual "no luck" situation.
Didn’t watch the game.
Seems like an awful ref and poor Arteta decisions cost us.
I think are first choice 11 are decent minus the striker position, but the rest of the squad till needs to be strengthened, especially defence and CM.
I think it is first approaching where Arteta has had enough time on the job to fully assess his future.
He will get us European football this year, but not the football that we want.

Would a change of manager help arsenal?
A lot of their players just aren't good enough.
But there is also a lack of ambition from the top.
Unless the plan is to rely on youth, in which case Arteta is not the guy for that.

I think it would. Maybe not a whole lot, but #theprocess seems dead. If they could get someone like Graham Potter...
think our players just look clueless most of the time, hoping Saka or ESR do a crazy move to bail us out
we still have the same problems as last season and the one before, low chance creation, over reliance on low block, no response if we get scored on, inexplicable subs, and a general lacl of gameplan

Arsenal got a bunch of talented young players. Need someone who will develop them correctly before they are all asking for a transfer.
By Cleff Go To PostThis all started when Shanks got cocky last week.
We go from expecting to smashing Liverpool to lucky if we get a point against Southampton at home on Saturday.
By maxpower Go To PostAny Germans left for Arsenal to hire?
Ozil
Arsenal met an Everton team that were determined to prove themselves. They weren’t bad, Everton just fought hard and Arsenal got overwhelmed. I don’t think it’s that shocking of a result given the circumstances surrounding both teams.
And I agree, Arsenal’s biggest problem were their fans getting cocky before the Liverpool game. That was only ever going one way.

Think Arsenal were shit against United and even worse today. If they want top 4 they need to be beating Everton and atleast getting a draw away against a poor performing United team. Especially once they took that lead.
I don't watch much of Arsenal but it's a struggle to see where the goals are coming from at the moment. Auba and Lacazette both seem to be in poor form. The tempo of their play seemed super slow today for a majority of the game and kept breaking down in the final third.

By domino Go To PostI feel like Arteta never got it off the ground. I'm still surprised he has a job tbhArteta only had a glimpse of qualifty on the 19/20 FA Cup, and you can put 90% of that into Auba and Martinez.
He was trash in the league and EL on his first half a season
Even trashier in the league and a bit better but still not good enough in EL in the second season, and trash on both domestic cups
Has been trash in the league without any European footy to bother the squad while spending the most in the league
People willing to give him more time than he already have are just afraid to say they were wrong about Arteta being the right man for the job.
Any other single club with 1% of ambition wouldve sacked him by now. Guy's finished.
Just concede lads, he didnt work. You are wrong. Move on. Everybody gets it wrong sometimes.
I do get most of the times the right calls when we're talking about Arsenal tho innit
I'll tell you what's gonna happen
We'll probably beat Southamptom
People will get deluded again by a decent run of games against weaker sides
and the Processer cycle will never end
