By cRrusheR Go To PostDalot deserves some praise here, he has upped his game.yh, might be the end for AWB if he can't be coached.
Fun game, enjoyed it. With basically zero time on the training pitch, nice to see some control over the game.
Good stuff. Fitness is going to a recurring issue for the rest of the season, but that felt so much safer than the majority of games so far.
Loved the Elanga trust in a game that wasn't decided.
Was getting kinda sick of youff not getting a shot.

I dont want to see anyone who started today at Young Boys.
I have issues with Bruno and Rashford,
too many people trying flicks in dumb situations.

It’s why we need a DM in January. Rotation will be key.
Good win. Get me a competent DM alongside Fred pls.
Rashford been shit the last couple games. Good to see Greenwood back in and getting the assist.
Dalot at RB just brings us so much more going forwards compared to AWB. Hopefully the change lasts.
Sancho Good again

Enjoyed that for the most part. Second half wasn't as impressive as the first. We didn't press as high and didn't look quite as organised. But that's ok as fitness levels clearly aren't high enough yet and we've had nowhere near enough coaching sessions to recognise the triggers for when to press.
The most encouraging thing for me was that we saw the framework of Rangnicks tactical plan for United. Our pressing for the opening 30 minutes meant Palace couldn't get into the game and our fullbacks played very high to act as genuine threats to the attack.
We also looked more organised in defence than in any other game so far this season. The entire team acted as a unit to shut down chances before they ever got to the stage where our defenders had to gamble.

I am genuinely happy for Fred. He has had to play a role he isn't suited to and all the criticism and yet he has been one of our best players since Ole left. He is now playing a role he is suited too; pressing higher up the pitch, harrying, interception etc. Hopefully he keeps going.
Shout out too to Dalot. Played much better than what we have had to deal with from AWB.

Do hope that Carl Anka eventually comes back to football writing. Treated like shit by a certain subsection of online United fans because he had the temerity to accurately assess how poor Oles United team were playing before it was fashionable to do so.
Sancho played well again btw. Drifted into central areas and played some lovely passes. Was clearly gassed by the time he came off though. Did a lot of pressing in the first half.
