if it was 3-4 years into the future and we had a better mid and striker we could maybe do a title challenge, especially considering city got CL while we don't
but its too early for that, if we finish top 4 ill be happy

Tough one but figured they’d call it off after the first replay was shown. Don’t understand why Pep didn’t make a change..he’s an enigma sometimes. Jesus hasn’t been good enough in the final third, would have liked to see Sterling on for him in the 60th minute or so.
By FootbalIFan Go To PostFoden incredible hard work and skillImpressive that he just runs his tail off right until the end. A lot of players would have been content to let Brentford get that ball.
By OneTwoTee Go To PostFoden is so unlikeableHe is a Man City player after all
Not enough was made of the fact that Foden got a far easier ride in the media than Greenwood did for the Iceland incident. Foden was already a father at that stage too.

Greenwood plays for a big club

By FootbalIFan Go To PostThere are a lot of bad teams in the epl
Not a good look for the best league in the world
Maybe the super league wasn't a bad idea
Are there more bad teams in this league than in Bundes/Serie A/La Liga? Or is the gap between top and bottom teams just bigger in PL?
I think the top 14 (as it stands) in the PL are all good, and Everton and Leeds have been hit massively by injuries
Ousmame Dembele is a potentially world class player. Incredible dribbler and has amazing acceleration which makes his dribbling past defenders look effortless.
But his injury record is so appalling that I doubt any big club will ever spend much money on him.

2) Also nah, it just feels like the gap is bigger than normal for the epl standard where "every team can beat every team". But I'm not sure if the numbers back that or if I'm just misremembering. Norwich just seem even worse than Derby to me.
By Fergie Go To PostWatch us sell Casemiro.
Perez building his new galaticos already.
Really tough match tonight. Portimonense played on a 6-3-1, scored on one of the very few chances they got and then locked down on defense.
We were relentless on second half, Portimonense ended up getting a player sent off and turned the heat even more.
Paulinho scored an hat trick, Portimonense scored again in the last minutes.
This was a very important win, Portimonense are 6th and have had some great results away from home, including a win against Benfica at the Luz.
Now we wait to see what happens tomorrow knowing that we are going to gain an advantage either to Porto or Benfica (hopefully both).
Another thing, this was Sporting's 11th consecutive league win.

Norwich and Newcastle aside I don't even think the bottom of the EPL are that bad just that this maybe the highest standard EPL I've seen in years. Technically EPL has improved so much since pep arrived, I'd go as far to say he's progressed the league almost as much as Wenger did when he first came.
By Daz Go To PostCity 8 points clear.Horse has well and truly bolted on their financial doping, especially when combined with how good their manager is.
Cunts.
Feels like all anyone can do is wait for Pep to leave and hope they regress. Tough to stay annoyed at results like our's against Leicester when you remember that they're just a part of a normal title-challenging season, and we're just up against an abnormal cunt of a club.

gg city
By bone Go To Post4 leagues in 6 seasons. Domestic treble. 4 straight Carabobos. They said he couldn't walk English football.even Ranieri could
All it took was for a pandemic to hit, economic collapse of every other league, and a billion euro team for Pep to win a CL without Messi.
Eh, City added one first team player to their squad this year, lost Aguero and now Torres, and have been playing without a striker all season and are still top by miles. Yes they’re cunts and yes their squad is ludicrous, but they’re also just incredibly well coached.
