Rangnick is so straightforward to the point where it's kind of insulting to Martial. He wants to leave, he's happy enough to let him go, but nobody wants him.
Also, it's kind of sad from a United perspective that Martial wants to leave. Feels like there's a lot of potential there that went unfulfilled. His first season at the club, as an 18/19 year old remains one of the best debut years I can remember of a United player. There was excitement around the stadium whenever he touched the ball.
I think he was let down by a succession of United managers who didn't really know how to use him and never gave him the proper coaching required to develop his game. LVG was the closest to that, but results and overall performances from the squad suffered in his second season and he was sacked soon after. Neither Mourinho or Olé trained their forwards to play in any discernible style and everyone suffered for that. The closest Martial came to his first season form was that 3 month period post lockdown when football returned. He was excellent.
But he also let himself down too often. There were many occasions where he obviously couldn't give a fuck on the pitch. Didn't move enough to receive passes, was easy to dispossess and didn't attack the box enough to get on the end of chances.

Also, Martial is on like 200k per week. Not a chance he goes to a side abroad. They just don't have that kind of cash outside a few big teams. The only teams that could afford him are PSG, Bayern or Real. And on current form he's not good enough for them. That means he either goes on loan to a smaller club who pays a portion of his wages. Or he goes to a side with a lot of money, who are desperate to sign any player with a semblance of attacking quality.

Lad is 26. Think we need to be looking at more than potential at this point imo.
He just hasn't worked out. Part due to himself but also due to the coaching he's had since he arrived. There was clearly a top player in there but he's not come good. I honestly believe he would have been much better off moving to another club rather than us at the time.

I hope the Wolves players are ok, but fucking pissed off the game is postponed. Was looking forward to watching the Christmas games during my vacation.

Would be a 15-20 goal a season player in England, Spain, or Italy.
I remember him doing well in the CL last season, then he came up against Man City and I don’t remember him doing anything.
Good, but not great. Also, seems to be a bit injury prone. Might not make it to 30.
You?

Ok, just for you I will watch some.
Looks pretty average.

But honestly, he seems to be getting better and better. Finally showing good end product.

Haha, missed this during the game.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostWould be a 15-20 goal a season player in England, Spain, or Italy.I think he's the next great goalscorer, barring injuries. Maybe not the best player in the world that makes people go wow like Totti, Messi, Diego, Dinho, Zidane etc.(obviously not in their position), but I think he has the ability to break a lot of goal records.

I definitely r8 him and his potential more than mbappe
Then again, 93% of Bundesliga players fail abroad so who knows

He's good but he won't provide as many assists or do something for the game if it ain't working with the goalscoring

Just a shit Armando Broja
Arsenal lads, what are we do do with Smith Rowe?
Dude is our top scorer and fourth joint top in the league, but he has been coming off the bench the last few games.
I think he is better than Ode and deserves his places, but would like to see him replace Laca and play as a false 9. I think he would be a great success there.

Play Martinelli upfront and then Smith-Rowe can go out on the left.

Yeah it's so cool. Shotgun can be a bit of a fuck on sitting down (I am a lazy boi) but its so much fun.
Portuguese Cup draw for the quarter and semi finals just happened. Sporting got Leça from the 4th division and will face the winner of the match between Vizela and Porto in the semi finals.
I'll reserve judgment until I can see how we react to conceding the now obligatory Sean Longstaff long-ranger.
Lingard and Martial are absent from the squad. Maybe it's a bit presumptuous because of the recent injury/Covid absences, but these are the two guys we know for sure who want to leave the club. Wonder if Rangnick is now discounting them from his selection?

By inky Go To PostWasn't Cavani leaving as well, tho?
The itk types are saying the club are trying to convice him to stay until the end of the season.
So if we're lining up as a 4-2-2-2 I have:
De Gea
Dalot
Maguire
Varane
Telles
Fred
McTominay
Bruno
Rashford
Ronaldo
Greenwood.

Eh, they all ook the same to me.
If he can stay healthy and match his last season's second half productivity then sure, why not.
Still a bit annoyed that my prediction was accurate and he's pretty much been out for the first half, AGAIN.
