By Fergie Go To PostFootball eh. Norwich gave United a game.Seriously, wtf?!
By Cleff Go To PostI think Guardiolas departure will bring City back into the chasing pack. He's a manager on the level of Ferguson for utter brilliance. His replacement will probably be a very good manager, but not someone who is as good because there's simply isn't anyone on that level bar Klopp. They'll be more beatable. It's the easiest job in football. Guardiola is going to have a Ferguson-length stay.
City seem to have put good youth structures in place and also have a good recruitment team for the senior side. So they're going to be a top 4 mainstay and probably a top 2 level club most years. But without Guardiola they won't be as dominant as they are currently.
By Xpike Go To Postyou know what they say about 0-5 leads
Since the Everton defeat, we have played out best football since the Wenger days.
It might only have been two weeks and against shit opposition, but this is how Arsenal should be playing.

Norwich couldn't deal with our early press and after the first goal Partey and Xhaka just won every 2nd ball
By Batong-TT Go To PostWest ham won't get top fourAgreed.
It's between Arsenal, Spurs, & United but I wouldn't put money on any of them at the moment.
By Fergie Go To PostImagine the odds at HT.
Even the odds for over 1.5 Leicester goals would have been pretty good.
Probably double digits
By rerixo Go To Postarsenal are 6 points ahead of 5th
arteta out lol
United and Spurs have three games in hand on them though.
By Andrew Go To PostI'd take points on the board over games in hand tbf.

Especially when It is going to be extremely tough for those teams to find times to make up those games.
By n8 dogg Go To PostUnited and Spurs have three games in hand on them though.if you tie any of them it's done
its possible any of them get all 9 points but for once the pressure isn't on us
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostSmith Rowe now on 8 goals. Including four game scoring streak in the league.
By Punished* Go To PostIt's the easiest job in football. Guardiola is going to have a Ferguson-length stay.I'm not so sure of that. Guardiola has made a few noises in the recent past about taking a break in the near future. He has already stayed at City for longer than he has at any other side he's managed.
I think his pointed criticism about City fans not turning up for home games points to his mindset. He's tired. Maybe he'll stay if City offer even more money. But I can see him departing in a few seasons time. Especially if they fail to win the CL.
By Batong-TT Go To PostWill Pele say something nice though 🤔I called what was going to happen weeks ago:
By Vini.lad Go To PostI'll tell you what's gonna happen
We'll probably beat Southamptom
People will get deluded again by a decent run of games against weaker sides
and the Processer cycle will never end
kill me
this was just after Everton
We're doing the bare minimum acceptable. We have to do more to get top 4. Still far away from it.

only fair after the gift of an OG
I love Stevie, but I fully expected he’d end up as a Pardew/Sherwood/Bruce/Lampard level of manager.
Very pleasantly surprised to see his teams always look like they have something about them.

That's not too late yet. Villa has had a pretty decent team for a while, just a championship as fuck manager

Even against the likes of City they looked very competitive.
Saying that, I think they have a hard ceiling of what could constitute success. Hard to see trophies or European football, in which case they are just treading.

This echoes my feelings. Feels like he’s got an actual future as a manager

The Papa John's Trophy trophy in 2027 with Sunderland, will get him that job.
