Better comparison would be Piatek. I think he banged in 20 goals by January and then Milan signed him. Belotti only hit highs in his fourth season, and since then has been averaging around 15 goals a season.
This is now Vlahovic’s second season where he has shown his class. Has already equalled and now has a chance to break Ronaldo’s record of most goals in a calendar year in his next game.
In my FM save I had Vlahovic for 6 seasons and he was good but his numbers went down hard after the first two seasons, always an injury away from a bad run. Meanwhile Haaland joined City, and he was shit until Guardiola was fired and they brought in Spalletti which prompted the Norwegian phenom to 56 goals in the league.
He does take pens. But even taking those away, he is quite impressive. Got a bit of everything and makes the whole Fiorentina team better around him.
