Barca eased off definitely. But Bayern could have scored more goals, especially in the first 20 minutes. Would have been a different game had they scored 2 within 15 minutes. Very entertaining gem until the second half started. Once Suarez was off, we gave them the midfield and it became a defensive game from us.
All right, just came home. Congrats Barca-Slaent for making the final. Incredible team. But I can't blame Bayern too much, only their wastefulness. I think Bayern played well and showed they should have kept their composure last week instead of chasing that away goal.
Anyway, two pretty good games I thought. I enjoyed them at least and hope they will be repeated again next season (with a more favourable outcome I hope).

I think this game has proven that Pep is the right man to lead Bayern for the foreseeable future. Should probably try extend his contract tbh.
The better team won over two legs, but penalties could have been a real thing if not for those two completely avoidable early goals. I think that's what should sting the most for Bayern supporters.

Right, Probity?Müller didn't have the best game of his career, and neither did Lewandowski, but they both scored and I am happy with their work ethic all things considered. I sympathize for them, having had to play the roles of our real only attacking threats for so long this season.
We've been without wingers and the like too long now, they must be burned out even with the supplement of the midfielders. Lewa specifically is under a lot of pressure up top.

Playing Ramos over Illara and Silva was a sound decision -- like Simeone said, it was a "brilliant move" when it worked in a few games. Illara has shown he either isn't good enough or simply doesn't have the confidence to play for Madrid and Lucas Silva is a kid who has never been tested in his career.
