Enjoyable film. Zoe Kazan is awfully cute.
Anyone have opinions on Silicon Valley or Veep? Need something new to start once I'm finished exams.
Have yet to watch Silicon Valley.
Veep is GOAT. Great from the beginning, but they really hit their stride in S2.

11 years ago another unneeded Real Madrid forward scored and eliminated them on his way to the Champions League final.
MORientes, just like MORata
On his team there was EVRA.
For Real Madrid played RONALDO
Also, Juve just met Monaco in the CL. Porto (that season's winner) also came far.
History repeats itself.
Alternatively... ILLUMINATI

Fiasco of the Century
Real Madrid fails at Bernabeu and throw away an historical opportunity to play the final against Barcelona, the mother of all finals.
Worst nightmare possible: Eliminated with a goal by the ex Madridista Morata.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostSo it's going to be a Barca win then? That's the most likely outcome.
But I trust Juve to change the course of history and save us from doomsday.
Mangala (lol):
What a bargain.
In December 2011 Porto had sold one-third of Mangala’s economic rights for around £1.8m to Doyen Sports, an investment fund registered in Malta, which has anonymous investors. So, when Begiristain and the City board plumped for Mangala as their best prospect for the crucial position of centre-back, Doyen Sports received £14m of the total £42m, a £12.2m net profit in two and a half years to the unknown investors.
Another 10% of Mangala, which was bought out, because third-party ownership of players is banned in the Premier League, was owned by a company called Robi Plus, registered in England. The sole director is Mauricio Delmenico, a Swiss resident. Robi Plus received £4.2m of the £42m and now, without having filed its 2013-14 accounts, Delmenico has applied for the company to be struck off the register. Adbell International, the accountancy firm presenting the striking out application, did not respond to questions about it from the Guardian.
The agent acting on Mangala’s move was the ubiquitous Portuguese dealmaker Jorge Mendes, whose extraordinary summer 2014 included Ángel Di María’s and Falcao’s moves to Manchester United, James Rodríguez going to Real Madrid and Diego Costa signing for Chelsea. The £42m City paid for Mangala did not include Mendes’s agent’s fee.
What a bargain.

I feel very elated that it is Juventus we face, not because of some sense of superiority but because had it been Madrid the final would be completely overshadowed by the fear of both sets of fans and teams of losing the game. Now I can enjoy the spectacle and hope for the best.

Ipswich playoff saturday - nothing like a BIG SEMI. ;)
Not losing to Norwich in the first leg was pretty much key - but they're a huge threat to us at Carrow Road.
Still - would have bitten your hand off for Playoffs at the start of the season so can't wait.
Also nice that Juve did Real over. <3

I think it's great how Real Madrid spent £195m on their front 3 and they get knocked out by their own academy player.
I like Porto to be in pot 2.
Increased chances of getting a big shark in the group, and the matches against those are great experiences, even if they end in disaster (usually not at home), and good chances those sharks will gobble all 6 points from the matches vs the 3 and 4.

Doyen Sports is seedy company. Word is they tried to rob Nathan from Chelsea to place him in Porto, their offer was even higher than Chelseá´s and Atlético Paranaense wanted him to go to Porto.
They arranged a conference in Spain in April for the Portuguese and Spanish federations to unit against the evil FIFA because of the ban on third party ownership. They even invited a few Brazilian teams to say how Doyen is saving Brazilian football, how without Doyen the teams wouldn´t have money to invest in training kids and football would die in Brazil because the kids no longer play football and they just stay in rooms playing video games.
On the end they all got together on stage and gave a red card to FIFA.
This is the real reason Figo is running for president of FIFA, so Doyen could have a puppet calling the shots for them and overturning the ban on TPO.

Surprise surprise, the strike has been called off. Remaining liga fixtures and Copa final will be played as planned.

Important difference.
Ok, finally I have finished work and can type out my thoughts.
Allegri what a man. He out thought one of the finest coaches of the CL era in both games. And the way he set the team out in the second leg was beyond believe. The team was setup to attack and score and that is exactly what they did. They didn't do it particularly well, especially with the final balls. But for the whole 90 minutes this team tried to attack and put numbers forward to get a goal. I thought would we would see the back 5, but Allegri gave RM the wings to prevent attacks down the middle and most of what they could muster from those wing attacks were poor or easily defendable crosses. It was the exact reason why I wanted RM, they are so predictable that if you can defend well then you can stop them. All that money and they just have no ideas about how to move the ball around and move defenders out of position.
I had said the other day that Juve need to play without fear and remember the great and historic jersey they wear. And they did that better than I could have hoped for, especially after conceding an unnecessary penalty that could have really seen them drop their heads. Juve could have won this with a couple more goals if it wasn't for some poor finishing. Amazing.
Now my thoughts are turned to the final. Barcelona are beatable, but I think the only way is to drop Pirlo. He can't do it in Serie A anymore, let alone against Barca in the biggest club match on earth. As much as I love Allegri, I don't think he has the balls to do it because he doesn't want to be known as the man who dropped Pirlo twice. I think the setup should almost be the same except with Sturaro in for Pirlo to add greater defensiive stability without losing a man in midfield. The Juve we saw last night should hopefully not be the one we see in the final as they will have a lot of time to just rotate the squad in the final games and allow Pogba to get back to match fitness. Same with Tevez who still doesn't seem 100%. If Juve can get everyone back to peak fitness then they can easily be a match for Barca. After all Steve Nicol and Shaka Hislop said Juve were basically playing with 91/2 men against RM last night with Pogba and Pirlo. Imagine what they will do fully fit.
Finally, I said before the game that I had upmost confidence that Juve would progress because of one man. The stage was set for a Shanks fall, but boy did Buffon look something else. 38 years old and still there is no one better than him. It's hard to believe he is

Is Carlo fired yet? What a disappointment that he got beaten by Allegri, but in all fairness Real had plenty of chances but kept missing.
