I remember having a coke when Ronaldo headed that in, ended up as one of the finest spittakes of my life.
Christ what a team that was. (Was this the first leg of the 7-1?)

That's what I admired about him so much. He really turned up for it.

My fave player stakes always teeters between Zidane (ballet dancer) v Ronaldinho (break dancer).
Both did beautiful things at crucial moments in a way that I don't see any more.

It's the year after. We won 2-0. Rooney scored the other goal, tap in from a corner or something.
Funny looking back at it cos the year before we lost 2-1 when Scholes got sent off and Rooney and Ronaldo were absolutely amazing in that game too but playing on adrenaline more than anything. But the year after they had matured into such complete players they just bossed that game with ease.

Favourite United player is Scholes, non-United is either Totti or Ronnie (but Messi is GOAT ofc ofc)
By nate Go To PostShame what's happened to Rooney. If I'm going to be painfully honest, he's completely the wrong player for Gaal. That interview with him talking about his optimal amount of touches to goals ratio was so telling.

Moyes should have sold him.

Oh yeah, we got Vunicic'ed in that game. Remember ITV being irate over how there were 2 balls in play from the corner or something lol
Can we go back :( Who knows what would have happened if Ronaldo never left. (Probably not as good as I imagine)

Agreed, but the fire was gone under Frog/Moyes too. That period with Ronnie/Tevez and the 09/10 season was just remarkable, he was so good. Even 2011, but since then he just hasn't been the same.

He won't have so many goals under his belt like he has at R. Madrid, but he sure as fuck wouldn't be boring.

I dunno. I don't think Rooney was ever in the very top bracket of players but I think when people look back on his career they'll realise that 1) he never got to be the player that the team was built around (and maybe he wasn't good enough for that?) and 2) that the guy played a ridiculous amount of football.
He isn't even 30 yet and he's played 660 professional games. That's 50 games a season since he was 17. It's remarkable. And we all know he hasn't been that serious about his fitness either.
Is there any chance Rooney breaks Shearer's record? He'd have to score 91 league goals in the rest of his career, I think.
Think Rooney is underrated actually. Very few English players in history have his technical ability.
Lazy ginger fuck.

Wish some EPL team would grab Zlatan before he retires. Such an incredible player. There's not a better CF in the world when his team have possession. He's also irrelevant when his team aren't in possession, but whatever,
By Lambda Go To Postlol, Pirlo get the fuck outta the team picture.

What the fuck team are we now? We're just Dortmund from 2011 but with more money, honestly. Soon enough we'll even have Klopp lol. And we don't need fucking midfielders THAT badly.
