Amazing
I imagine Blatter playing Jack Nicholson role in departed here, probably somewhat protecting himself and leaving his gang out to dry in return for immunity
By Woodenlung Go To PostAmazingIt's more amazing that it's just after their 6-1 loss :lol

FIFA really is full of damaged twerps. It's like a fucking vast UKIP
And that's the PR chief. Christ.
By S@l Go To PostBe nice for the FA to properly express contempt and act on it.
Many things would be nice Sal
But Dyke is the most snivelling spineless pathetic character. Can't imagine he carries out many actions which require a working conscience.
By Laboured Go To Post4 of the 14 indicted have already pleaded guilty. Includes Chuck Blazer.Wagner and him were already out of FIFA, weren't they? what were they doing in Switzerland?
People seem to think that this is the house of cards finally collapsing, but I'd be shocked if Qatar doesn't go ahead as planned.

By Mister0079 Go To Postso what are the chances now of the world cup in qatar being cancelled?
De Gregorio #fifa: "The World Cups of 2018 and 2022 will be played in Russia and Qatar." No re-vote. Laughable
Blatter will remain and the world cup will somehow still end up in these two places
like napoleon getting rid of snowball.

Aye. And Blatter will spin this as him heroically cleaning house. This Gregorio arsehole has already started.
And he'll get re-elected. And fuck all will change.
By Yurt Go To PostJunited getting shit done finally!
we've also signed three players so far, Dybakla, Khedira and Neto.
Neto might actually end up being Brazil's first choice keeper in Copa America after Diego Alves did his ACL.
Wait, we didn't sign Neto.... did we?

Does anyone know from a legal perspective what it would take to force FIFA's hand and take a re-vote on Russia and Qatar WC?

Away from the press conference, the US department of Justice has released a statement to the media saying 14 defendants have been charged with "racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering conspiracies" over a 24-year period.
Four individual defendants and two corporate defendants have pleaded guilty.
Acting US attorney Kelly T Currie said: "After decades of what the indictment alleges to be brazen corruption, organised international soccer needs a new start.
"It needs a new chance for its governing institutions to provide honest oversight and support of a sport that is beloved across the world, increasingly so here in the United States.
"Let me be clear: this indictment is not the final chapter in our investigation."
well then

Storari RIP
Do you rate Khedira m8? Good for first choice replacement I think.
We still need to sign a better RB and/or LB.
Why would Neto accept going and sitting on Juventus's bench? Money grabbing puss
And yeah, as for FIFA; nothing will come of it. Blatter will stay in power, Russia and Qatar won't lose their WCs, slaves will continue to die.

It would probably take a lot, probably proving that most of the votes were obtained through bribery,
Only thing that would make FIFA change their mind would be if their main sponsors like Coca-Cola, Budweiser, Hyundai, MacDonalds and Adidas would drop them.
Money grabbing puss?
At Juve?
Ur avin a laff m8
We have a very reasonable wage structure. Tevez is our highest earner at €5,5m (after taxes of course). He'll probably make a little bit more than Storari, if anything, who is on €1.5m.
Anyway, most big teams have two really good keepers on their books these days so they don't have to sacrifice quality when rotating. Buffon is 37. Neto will play plenty of matches.

Glad we got rid of Storari, been crap for two seasons now. I hope he stays as a third choice though, he's lovely to have around
Yeah, we do, but I wouldn't start worrying about that just yet, the transfer window isn't open it ;) DARMIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
By n8 m8 pls dont h8 Go To PostWhy would Neto accept going and sitting on Juventus's bench? Money grabbing pussthat's kinda what Dunga called him lol
I think he's banking on the fact that Buffon is 37, but I don't think he realises that Buffon is targeting WC 2018.
I'd send Zaza+cash to Torino in exchange for Darmian. Zaza isn't bad but I don't rate him above Dybala or Morata necessarily.
Why has [Khederia taken such a fall from grace in everyone eyes? Isnt he like an actual really good player when playing regularly?
Department of Justice issues statement implicating Real Madrid in fraudulent tax practices in regards to a separate case stemming from an investigation which commenced in march of 2012.

all our midfielders are vastly superior to his one-dimensional game

There are some questions after his injuries.
But really, Vidal and Pogba stay in their positions, Marchisio drops to regista, and Khedira fills in where there is need when there are injuries or subs (or pushes Vidal up to the top of a diamond midfield if we're not playing 4-3-3). To be honest, I rate Khedira but he isn't better than our current midfield. I think his main competition is Pereyra (who we surely must take up from Udinese).

That's overly cynical imo. The fact that the Swiss are helping out is big, because their treaty with the US allows them to refuse extradition for crimes regarding tax. FIFA execs will no longer be able to feel as safe as they used to. If nothing else, that's a step up from yesterday.
