£30m for Benteke.
Steep. Have said this before but if Liverpool are gonna buy him without tailoring their team to his style they're wasting more money. They way they play now will not suit him.

By wedward Go To PostBale, Pogba, Hummels and Ronaldo.Bale announced he's staying so he can keep his long hair.
Pogba is Cuntalunya bound. They'll dress him with a Barca shirt during the CL final.
Hummels will never play in the same team as Koscielny. You know which player Arsenal fans will choose to have.
Ronaldo won't leave because Rafa > Wenger.
Maybe you can sign them in FIFA wedderz.

I'd consider Chelsea a serious club and we are competitive with them in terms of a wage bill.
United have shown throwing buckets of money at mercenaries doesn't get you much.

Think we can all agree that if push comes to shove Chelsea could quite easily outbid Arsenal on fees and wages but the wage bill comparison is a bit of a misnomer.
Arsenals squad is a lot bigger than Chelsea's, like, 7/8 extra players. Maybe even as many as 10 actually. The overall annual expense only says so much. They're still paying considerably more to the players that "count" if I can put it that way.
Edit - Also just as a matter of accuracy, last years wage bill was £30m less. Quite a gulf.
I'm not talking about an overall wage bill.
The battle to throw money at Pogba is liable to get too heated for non-mega clubs to be involved even a little bit.

Never hear of these swap deals coming off but we should propose a few options.

Adriano Galliani confirmed he “will not give up” on bringing Carlo Ancelotti back to Milan. "There's another meeting tomorrow."
The Coach had dinner with Rossoneri CEO Galliani and transfer consultant Ernesto Bronzetti both on Monday and Tuesday evening.
Tonight’s encounter was held at Ancelotti’s home in Madrid.
“I am here to bring Ancelotti back to Milan,” said Galliani to Sport Mediaset reporters afterwards.
“I will not give up. I told him to say yes. There will be another meeting tomorrow.”
Sky Sport Italia suggest there will be no definitive answer tonight, but a decision is expected before Ancelotti goes on vacation to Vancouver on Friday.
“Ancelotti is an extraordinary cook and made us a great carbonara,” smiled Galliani on Sky Sport Italia.
“We don’t know what will happen yet, we’ll see each other tomorrow as well. Carlo doesn’t seem sad to me.
“I am here for his return to Milan and tomorrow the pressing continues. Tomorrow is another day, but it will not be an ‘in or out’ moment.
“The negotiations with him are always good, as he’s part of our family. We won 11 international trophies together and he is in our history.
“We reminisced over the unfortunate night with Liverpool, otherwise the trophies could’ve been 14.
“I met him for the first time in 1987 and there is an excellent rapport between us. This is one of those relationships that never end.
“Carlo knows that, if he doesn’t say yes, I will fly with him and his wife to Vancouver!”
Ancelotti said in a Press conference just before he was dismissed by Real Madrid that he would “take a year off” if the sacking was confirmed.
He terminated his contract with Real Madrid today, reportedly earning a pay-off worth €2.4m.
“If Ancelotti decides to return to us, we are tied by a great past and great respect and personal affection,” President Silvio Berlusconi told Rai.
“A President of a club for 30 years will know about the sport and have something to say about tactics. I’d know how to coach a football team and take them to the top of world football.
“Who knows, I might do it one day.”

Don't think Willian would be one of the league's best players even if his end product was good
Hazard, Fabregas, Sanchez, Aguero, Silva are all handily better than him, though Willian is tasked with being more positionally disciplined than any of them (maybe aside from Fabregas, but that's never been his strong point)
I'd put him more on Ramsey's level, or Eriksen when he's in good form.
Just watched Mad Max 2, aged much better than the first one with an obviously much bigger budget.
