Watched Kingsman late last night. Not bad. I like action movies where I'm baffled at how they coordinate and shoot the scenes. Film had a lot of those, but also had a fairly poor climax built around a shoddy looking set and lesser visually appealing action.
I also didn't really like how the lead was built from such humble beginnings to what he ended up becoming. The leap felt like it needed a bit more to me. There should have been an additional scene somewhere.
And can someone who's seen the movie explain where all the other Kingsman of the world were during this time of crisis? That really threw me for a loop. That they're relying on two rookies and Mark Strong to save the world when they've already introduced a full table of Kingsman that had their own candidates for that vacant position.
Having said that, I would watch a sequel because those good action scenes were very well done.

So he's their Podolski.
Fair enough.

He's hardly featured this season for WBA under Pulis, right?

i thought she was so hot in birdman. shes not even what id call traditionally pretty. theres just something attractive about her.
Why is Benzema on the outs in Madrid? Seems very sudden, and irrational unless they really are willing to go all in on Augero, who I wouldn't expect to move for anything less than a new transfer record.
Actually, when you think about it like that, it makes perfect sense given their history.
Kun, DDG, Pogba and Rafa in one summer. What a life.

So I guess that's how they'll rationalize it.

By Hitch Go To PostWisdom isn't even West Brom's first choice rightback. We need better.Doubt we've got much money left for a top striker, a back up keeper and a first choice rightback.
We're a mess.
and to be fair to Kolo, he's probably still better than Lovren.
British press today decided that United are not interested in Otamendi right now, as they're claiming in Spain, and that Hummels is still priority.

Valencia aren't happy at all with the Nicolas Otamendi situation and that's little surprise. On Monday the defender's agent spoke out to Spanish radio and said his client wanted to leave Valencia and further his career elsewhere, with Manchester United being the club seen as his likeliest destination. Otamendi's agent was angry with Valencia, he accused the club of peddling lies by suggesting that the player was happy to stay beyond this summer and that there was any chance of him signing a new contract.
Those criticisms of Valencia were harsh and unnecessary, the club have been fighting hard to get themselves a Champions League place, something which was only secured on the last day of the season, so they could hardly have stated publicly that their best player this season was anything other than super committed. The agent's words have served to wind up Valencia more than they needed to be and he's probably harmed his client's chances of going for less than his €50m clause.
Jorge Mendes isn't Otamendi's agent but he's close to both clubs involved and has therefore been dragged into everything, but Valencia's sporting director Amadeo Salvo has been quoted by Super Deporte as saying "Mendes is nobody in Valencia."
Salvo also said that if he sold Otamendi for less than his clause, even €49m, then he'd be sacked by the Spanish club's owner Peter Lim. He also expects that Manchester United pay the transfer fee all in one go "if it's Manchester I think it'll be 50 in cash."
There is a little light there, he's making it sound like Valencia would treat a €50m bid as a conventional transfer rather than force the buyout clause route.
British press know nothing m8. Woodward is the playing the con.
Kolo is incredible, his banter is off the charts.
