By sohois Go To PostIf you imagine your team winning all their games, how exactly are they not winning the title?ive imagined the likely scenario that after liverpool we dont lose any other game until new years
but its the hope that kills you, i should know this as an arsenal fan
It’s a very low bar but I just want us to look competitive in the Liverpool match.
If West Ham can do it, we can.

By Cleff Go To PostWe scouted Sancho for years and made it clear he was our main target for the right wing. Took us two full seasons to finally get him, yet when he arrives it becomes abundantly clear that the coaches don't actually know how to use him in the slightest.Big FUT energy
de vrij to the spurs would be an incredible get for them.
would love to see him get tested in the premier league.

Pretty interesting chart a user on reddit put together of the points vs salary of all the teams in MLS. Here is an update on the top 10 best paid players in the league:
Carlos Vela (LAFC) - $6,300,000
Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez (LA Galaxy) - $6,000,000
Gonzalo Higuain (Inter Miami) - $5,793,750
Alejandro Pozuelo (Toronto FC) - $4,693,000
Luiz Araujo (Atlanta United) - $3,941,667
Josef Martinez (Atlanta United) - $3,891,667
Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC) - $3,602,250
Rodolfo Pizarro (Inter Miami) - $3,350,000
Maxi Moralez (NYCFC) - $3,285,000
Victor Wanyama (CF Montreal) - $3,091,667
For reference, $6.3m is around £4.65m or a shade under £90k a week.
By Hitch Go To PostWhenever I need cheering up I look at Altidore's goalscoring record in the PLIIRC he won a penalty for Sunderland vs us that season that coupled with the loss to Aston Villa ended our title charge at the end of the season.
Kind of related but my mate works for Toronto and says that there’s a decent chance Insigne is going to sign for them in the summer.
The below tweet is something that a lot of us have now come to realise. Our lack of any sort of system in attack or defence has killed us. It heaps far too much pressure on our players, especially our defenders, who are definitely going to make errors when there's a dozen different options they have to foresee.
A good attacking system increases the options your forwards have and a good defensive system decreases the decisions a defender has to make. We have neither. The Liverpool game was very instructive in seeing how badly implemented our defensive system is. Maguire and Shaw both made three or four individual errors which led to various Liverpool goals. But if you look at the build up to each goal you see that it was a series of errors further up the pitch which really caused the damage. For instance, Fred and McTominay push a mile up in a disorganised press which Liverpool easily get around, now they have a player unmarked in the gap between midfield and defence.
Maguire, who was marking a forward, now has to rush out and try and win back possession, but he can't get there in time and an easy pass is played to the now unmarked forward. It goes down as Maguires error, but really he was faced with having to choose from like half a dozen different options as there were now three or four Liverpool players in space and not enough defenders. He chose the least worst at the time. Maguire and Shaw are good players and far better than their performances this season might suggest.
Our attacking build up is too focused on Shaw and Bruno. The former has the pace and power to get last a defender on the byline and the latter can pull magic from his arse. But when a defence is set up for that we pass side to side aimlessly and fail to open up gaps.
That Wolves game was when our faults started to become evident. They destroyed us on the counter and also at times when our midfield and defence was set. Nobody in midfield or defence knew when they should push up or drop deep.

By Kidjr Go To PostY is there so much space between??? LmaoBecause Man Utd under Ole & friends are simply missing the basic fundementals of football - coaching. Ole has the players making the kind of mistakes many of us would never do in FM.
A half decent manager with a backroom staff he's worked with for years will fix that nonsense right away.
By Xpike Go To Postole has admitted that he doesn't coach the teamI know. It's mostly Carrick and McKenna who lead the team in day to day coaching. Both are novices at senior level and clearly haven't been able to get across whatever it is they're trying to implement.

Villa would be a great move for Gerrard, especially if it looks like Rangers aren't getting through their Europa League group
Enough time and quality to get them safe from relegation and figure things out without any expectations

Just a basic fucking structure and principle for our incredible talent to work off of, and fill gaps when folks venture a bit out of place in a free attack.

On the one hand, stay at Rangers and protect his reputation and possibly win another title - with perhaps the Liverpool job opening up.
On the other, jump in midseason with a club in very poor form (with a decent/good squad) and ambitions above their station. I don't think they would tolerate any run of bad results like with Smith. Fail there and then he's in the Lampard situation. Still, I think Liverpool is far too big of a jump and there should be an in between like Villa.
By Andrew Go To PostI'm not sure.I don't think FSG will hire him straight from Rangers, as much as a lot of fans would want them to. SPL is just too shit to provide a decent indicator of his ability.

Moyes was truly an embarrassment. That's when you knew that SAF lost the plot.

By Daz Go To PostWhy is batong out there in the cold?He was born into it, molded by it. He was an adult before he felt warmth.
Rui Oliveira e Costa has passed away. Legendary personality. Went to the bathroom once while doing a live broadcast and forgot to turn off his mic. He will be missed. At least he got to see his Sporting win a league title before he passed away.

lad.
One thing about Gerrard going to Villa or Liverpool is his assistant, Michael Beale, is said to be really highly rated. Should be better than Lampard in that regard.

By Cleff Go To PostSteven Rodgers? This would be a disaster from Villa's perspective. One of the biggest net spenders in recent years and they go for Gerrard, who manages in the SPL? Smells of a Lampard-esque appointment.
Brendan Gerrard?
A Lampard-esque appointment would be him going to Liverpool. A lower table PL club would be a good fit for Stevie.
