There have been warnings in the past about wishing injuries on people, but going full on aids and ebola is a bit too much.

I think one of the better things about this board is that it’s not immediately obvious who’s moderating and who isn’t, and that in doing so you have moderation that slots into the community pretty seamlessly.

You can lose sight of this pretty easily until you spend time in other places (you all know where I mean) where the moderators charge in with their dicks swinging, punching in every direction constantly, and then play victim that the community thinks they’re all arseholes.

Unless we’re all in agreement that this place would be better as some Mad Max style lawless wasteland, I think we’re all just going to have to take it on the chin that every once in a while someone will end up getting a slap on the wrist as a reminder to reign it in. Ultimately, 48 hours is pretty insignificant as these things go. Again, there’s plenty of very popular boards that will bin you off for a week minimum for having an even slightly agitated tone.
