It's a direct 1:1 correlation to the number of "this one win will turn the season around" games you got
Lonzo out 8 weeks for surgery. MIL really gonna repeat huh
I don't whether it's worse for the Pacers or the competing teams trying to land these guys that both of their bigs got injured right before the deadline.

Sixers could've fleeced the Cavs for every guard on their roster before the season started and no one would've blinked twice.
In my mind in Moreys office there is a white board where every player is ranked 1 to 450 and he just erased a line between the 25 and 26 player and put one between 39 and 49 ones
Pacers definitely get the short end of that stick, because their trade pool for interested teams went from "damn near everybody" to "mostly teams that are tanking."
For a tanking team like (hopefully) the Blazers it's a good thing for the player they're trading for to be injured as long as they're expected to make a full recovery say just before the offseason.

Fox or Haliburton are fine targets.
I'm not even sure if either guy is any good either but they are able to dribble the ball and will at least take shots. That would be a godsend and both are still young enough to stay valuable.
ESPECIALLY if it means you get off of Tobias' deal too? shiiiiet.

By knux-future Go To PostFox or Haliburton are fine targets.Kings just told Fox they won't trade him and they want to build around Fox and Haliburton so I don't even know who Morey is trying to target from them
