Things getting worse for Newcastle on the footballing side. Need a better coach in soon if they want to stave off relegation.
By Cleff Go To PostArsenal will sack their manager and get a better one long before United give up on Olé.Ole gets backed though.
But Arteta seems to have established an actual style, like it or lump it. The players don't look clueless when they receive the ball.
Ole has quality players, very few of Arsenal's squad would fit in the starting team of the other top teams in England.
By Daz Go To PostOle gets backed though.Personally, I don't think Arsenal look very well organised in attack. Arteta is a similarly poor coach in that regard.

They don't have the quality of other top sides, but you'd still expect them to be a bit more competent. Good coaching can get more from less. Similar problem to us except we have better players.
By JesalR Go To PostArsenal have played one good match this season, and it’s all Nuno’s faulthalf a game
and people were already calling Arteta a genius

By domino Go To PostUnited v Arsenal on Dec 2 is looking like a You’re Fired match in the makingi remember when Ole v. Emery was the exact same thing and it was one of the worst football matches to ever happen, ended 1-1 and no one was sacked

he missed with one thing. not enough zendaya. episode 2 needs to happen
By guanciale Go To PostOle is not getting the sack.if these next 9 games go as bad as i expect and he still keeps his job then we may as well keep him forever.
I just watched a video with Scholes claiming Chelsea has the weakest defense of the top four, is man high?

I just saw Lacazette celebrating his goal like it was a winner...
Man, Oleta has really destroyed Arsenal. We're full midtable now. Celebrating late levellers against fucking Palace at home...
Laughable. Fuck Arsenal.

Giroud was throwing his heels up like Bruce Forsyth about five years ago.

It is making me very nervous. By all accounts it seems the consortium was caught with its trousers down by the speed of approval (or indeed...just getting approval), but time is not on our side thanks to Mike and Bruce. We need results now and to get them we need to change Bruce, but we have to get it right. The squad is the squad until Jan and it is very short, any realistic option will be better than Bruce, but getting results straight away is far from a guarantee, regardless of who gets the job. I still see us going down this year, we 4 wins from the next 10 would give us 15(!) points for the first half of the season, which would leave us well short...and do I see us winning 40% of our next games? nope
Hmm a Malmö friend of mine can't travel to SB tomorrow but offered me his ticket. Sent a picture of the ticket and barcodes, would that even work to get through the turnstile 🤔😆
Morning, everyone. Hope you have a good day.
By Laboured Go To PostNot seen anything too reliable yet but seen some whispers about the Saudis also going for Inter.Football has truly been abolished.

At the very least, if you spaff a load of money in January, even a team that doesn’t gel with each other for 12 months could probably still to better than the current bunch by relying on individual talent alone.

I think I agree....but there is still going to be a ceiling on how many points you can get in x games. Obviously loads of signing wouldn't be happening on the 1st of Jan either, so by the end of jan there might only be 16ish games left. It's going to be tough unless we start winning now.
And to be fair, I don't see us spending tons and tons of money in Jan. 50m is the figure that has been passed about for Jan, a lot for a Jan window for sure but that won't go very far considering how many places need strengthening.
Newcastle spaffed a relatively large amount back in 15/16 in the January transfer window and still got relegated. You'd imagine they'll spend a lot more this time round but I wouldn't say it's a guarantee
By Pedja Go To Post"faces the axe"No silly, they're inviting him to a lumberjack contest.
They're inviting Bruce to the embassy in Istanbul?
Eddie Howe to Newcastle reminded me that Mark Hughes was City's first manager of their new ownership
By FortuneFaded Go To PostHe’ll be pronounced how-way in Newcastle
I think Howe would be a sensible choice, as long as he isn't given transfer responsibility.
I still have no idea why he isn't more highly rated for dragging Bournemouth from the brink of the conference to the Premier League in around 5 seasons, then keeping them there for several more seasons despite the smallest budget in the league, all while trying to play decent football

I don’t think it’s a guarantee either, i just find it hard to see how things could get any worse.
By Hitch Go To PostGiroud was throwing his heels up like Bruce Forsyth about five years ago. That was infuriating as well, but at least some players were pulling his shirt to restart the game as soon as possible
It's the history of the Arsenal.
Yesterday was different. Everyone seemed satisfied with nicking a point at home against Palace...
Fans going crazy hahaha. Jokes. Shambles. Arsenal.
I'd prefer it if Amad went on loan. Signing Ronaldo fucked up the forward line and now there is one fewer place for a RW in the squad because Greenwood has to play there.
