Happy birthday Batong!
Hopefully, the surgery is a success for Wooden. 🤞
Norwich, some of these players man... Just shocking.

By bud Go To Postone thing i've noticed as i've gotten older is that my nose hair is growing much faster. thicker, too. This is a curse I've started noticing too. The way they're sprouting from my nostrils disgusts me.

I have to shave my fucking EARS these days (outside not in)
Would you take Moyes at Spurs, Scum/JesalR?
He's done a really impressive job at West Ham (definitely wouldn't leave midseason though).

By Andrew Go To PostWould you take Moyes at Spurs, Scum/JesalR?With what he's currently doing with West Haram, surely yes. But we all know we're getting Koeman. I said the same thing before Poch showed up though - I just want someone who can get the starting XI playing well, a game at a time.

Everything else will come with that.

I think he has done a great job at West Ham, but that doesn't necessarily make him the right choice for Spurs or a club with their notion of what constitutes success. He won't win trophies, he'll still rely on counter-attacking and defense, and he doesn't have to manage anyone with the profile of Kane or Son. What he says goes at West Ham; he wouldn't have that cult of personality elsewhere, same like he didn't at United.
When he took charge at utd, it was obvious he was unprepared for all the ancillary responsibilities of the job. West Ham, Neverton during the era he managed them, were the perfect places for him.
He's done a fantastic job in his ideal situation, but sometimes he still looks in awe of "big teams" and I wonder if he could handle the pressure that comes at spurs. You kept Kane, renewed Son, got some young players... the success window is not getting any more open over there.

By n8 dogg Go To PostHappy birthday batongWould probably find out for the most part since since many have each other’s social networks and even phone numbers.
Scary to think if wooden died we may have never truly known. We would have just assumed based on his forum posting energy he’ll never willfully stop
Only if dean or i die will you know for sure. Or maybe tc and dan.
Happy birthday Baguette!

I don't know that success is an expected thing there, unlike a post-Ferguson United.
(no offence to the spurs lads here)
Would be very curious to see if he gets another chance at a big club.
Reading the BBC livescore updates
Dean Smith gets a hell of a lot of excuses made for him compared to most.

Will "sell your best player for a huge fee then buy like 6 new players" ever work or is it doomed to be a Spurs level strategy forever?

Agreed, but they still have the England captain, made a CL final a few seasons ago, have been regulars in the CL and have had the capital to hire the likes of Mourinho. They’re not United big, but they’re more than West Ham big.
We were fortunate with the Coutinho money to be in a position where we could attract two brilliant players with the silly money, especially having reached the CL final with one of them. I don't think Spurs post-Bale, Liverpool post-Suarez, and Villa post-Grealish were in a position to buy two great players, so it was a choice between spreading that money around on a lot of players, or just keeping it and taking pelters for not spending it.
Plus as good as Coutinho was, he wasn't the difference between us being good and being bang average like the others
