You'd have to say at this point that Spurs should have taken the £100m for Kane and ran to the bank.

I genuinely thought Kane was gone this summer, and really hoped he was too. Can't replace a player like him but I'd not have him replaced. The money would have been better spent on a creative midfielder, for a start.

We've been ok. Can't begin to describe how bad Spurs have been though. In every game where we've been pressed we've struggled to maintain possession. But Spurs just backed off us and rarely tried winning the ball from us.
Have to give Olé some credit for going to a back 5 and cutting out the numerous overlaps that opposition wingbacks have had in many of our games this season.
Essentially we've just beaten a side who are in a worse rut than we are. But to do so we've dropped the young, exciting talent we have out wide and gone to a deep lying, counterattacking system. That'll work for a while maybe. But we've a lot of players who don't suit that system and will be demanding something change soon.
