The Second Captains episode was really good and outlines what others who are fans of Conte have been saying. He’s the best realistic option for United by far it would be a travesty for the club if they don’t get him.

But Horncastle made it clear that as far as he knew Contes problems were usually with the executives rather than the players. Only player he ever really had big issues with was Diego Costa.

Would have zero issue with Rodgers coming in. He's proven himself as one of the better managers and coaches in the league and is probably ready to make the step up to a mega club again.

A cult of personality that propels everything forward at that club. He brought them from mid table in La Liga to one of the best sides in Europe. Just don't think he'd have the same success elsewhere.
Like he'd go to the majority of teams and improve them significantly. He's a good tactical coach and drills an impressive defence. But he'll probably never get the same buy in from a different set of players.

Depressing to read all these managers being linked with United while there's fuck all going on with us.
