By Fergie Go To PostHey, they at least got to watch a match that will go down in history.
By inky Go To PostFirst we'd have to identify said manager. It's probably gonna be Carrick for the next few weeks lol
We’ll try for Zidane and Conte and Pochettino, and end up with Henning Berg.
Just get Conte in
'But he'd want us to spend a lot of money'
You've got a lot of money you daft cunts. Of course he'd have a meltdown eventually, but he'd leave you in a much better state than this.

Looking forward to the Manchester Derby now.
We should destroy them. Anything less than 4-0 would genuinely be disappointing.

By pulga Go To PostMy good friend Mak would like to know if Sancho has scored yet what should I tell him
“Who?”
My preferred managerial target would be a younger, progressive coach who has shown he can organise a press and an attacking system. A Rodgers, Potter, Pochettino type.
But none of them are available right now. Quite frankly we need a proven top quality manager who can come in and organise our midfield and defence which is an utter mess.
The only manager available who can do that, from what I can see, is Conte. I don't think he's a manager for the long term. I don't like his football and don't think he's a manager who'll keep up with the signing of younger, quality players which has been the most encouraging point of Solksjaers tenure. But we need someone in now will rescue our season.

you can fire Ole but with ManU's fixture list, you than probably look at Carrick as caretaker?, because you would not let a new coach start with that fixture list.
So guess he will be there for a few more matches

I usually avoid putting Utd players in my fantasy team.. have never had Penandes. I changed course and added Ronaldo after his first game and he's only scored 1 in 5 now, lol. I know once I ditch him he'll go on a tear again though.
By Dan Go To PostLooking forward to the Manchester Derby now.I dunno. Salah is just so clincal.. I could see us struggling to get the goals in the same situations.

Maguire is legitimately one of the very worst players I have seen play football. Every single one of those goals is directly or indirectly linked to him.
It's remarkable even. He's near Almeida status. That's not good friends.

I don’t really give a fuck who it is, just get an interim manager in who can get the bare minimum from this ridiculously expensive squad.
Then go all in for someone like Poch or Ten Haag at the end of the season.

Eh. It’s not all about winning the trophies, for me. I know that’s anathema to most, but I think Spurs fans of this era will have such fond memories of the Poch era despite the trophies.
I have been happy with Ole for the last few seasons because we have been a young, mostly homegrown, unstarry side with likeable players and a verve and thrill about the way we win matches. I would not have traded the last two or three years under him for anything because I have really enjoyed watching our club and watching the likes of Rashford and Greenwood and Bruno thrive. It’s been a fun culture around the club, where there has been progress, expectations a little lower than usual… it hasn’t felt like such pressure. I’ve just enjoyed watching.
But with Ronaldo and Varane and a few years of watching Pep and Klopp and Tuchel get sustained strong attacking performances, it was only for so long I’d enjoy pure vibes. But what i don’t want is just a focus on winning at all costs without the likeability that goes with it.
I know I’m different in that regard. But I enjoy watching players I like play for my side. Conte would start Ronaldo every week and re-sign Ashley Young, instead of building a side around Sancho, Greenwood and Rashford.
I remember saying about 18 months ago that you would have to consider Ole to be one of the worst coaches in the league, on reputation, achievements and what he's actually trying to do on the pitch.

Spurs next. We'll lose that too
That’s a game I’ll remember for years to come. This title race will be virgin-tight between Chelsea, City and ourselves.

Wish Ole would come out and admit he isn’t good enough and resign. That would keep his legend status sky high, instead of it being tainted in some way.

By Oddinho Go To PostThat’s a game I’ll remember for years to come. This title race will be virgin-tight between Chelsea, City and ourselves.Have to hope City don't go on one of those runs where they pull away even though the other teams are only dropping a reasonable number of points. Shame we didn't take the chance to beat either of them at home, especially Chelsea.
By n8 dogg Go To PostWill be so annoyed when we let Pochettino go back to Spurs. So your opinion is that... Poch is alright but he didn't have enough quality at Spurs to win titles? Or Ole is just so awful you'll settle for some decent football regardless of titles?

I think Pochettino is great and getting a side who are miles behind the top three or four clubs in terms of transfer fees and wages to play great football and constantly finish in the top two or three is a sign he could do a great job with a better side or one with more resources and a similar profile (young, homegrown, good on the counter). I don’t see his job at PSG affecting my view of him because of the specifics of that role.
By Hitch Go To PostHave to hope City don't go on one of those runs where they pull away even though the other teams are only dropping a reasonable number of points. Shame we didn't take the chance to beat either of them at home, especially Chelsea.
Yeah, the fact that all three of us are rampaging through the teams below us means the head-to-heads will be crucial, and we’re behind on that front.

Talking about all the semis we got, and a second place finish and a final.
It was never good enough. If anything, it's years of Rashford's and Greenwood's and Bruno's great form wasted into nothingness. Great players will thrive even under more hostile setups.
