Moyes. The ultimate indignity.
Great run by Rashford there. Thought that was a goal for sure.
Ronaldo in trouble for that maybe. Could be red.

to be fair, he did hit the ball twice.
the intention is worthy of a red card, but the execution makes it a yellow imho.

Michael Carrick was one of the best holding midfielders of his generation. Knew exactly where to position himself relative to his defenders in order to screen them. He also knew when to drop deep, pick up the ball and play incisive passes to midfield.
So why, as a coach, do his midfielders and defenders look completely oblivious as to what the other unit is doing, where they should be standing, who should be dropping deep or stepping forward etc?
We've a lot of individually talented players who aren't functioning as a unit. There's no through link between defence to midfield and midfield to ten forwards.

Terrible or not can't even get one iota of frustration and passion from the other window lickers.
He's lost his head.

Obvious yellow for Fred but Naby should have done the smart thing and let hkm have that. Not worth the kind of potential wound from that.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostI have had Germany-Brazil feelings since after the first goal when Liverpool almost scored the second..
Ole thinking about what to say at half-time
“Remember when we came back against Spurs in 2001? Do that again but better.”

Fuck me that's the same goal as last time.
Players get attracted to the ball, an opposition player holds his width knowing that if he does he'll have a good chance of scoring.

By Cleff Go To PostEvery single player was drawn to the ball and Salah and nobody picked up the Keita run on the wing. He was in 10 yards of free space in the box and had a ton of time to pick out his pass. We've been doing this for a long time. We play a weird form of mixed, but players are told to follow their marking assignment even if they run to the other side of the pitch. That's why Shaw always follows the wide forward to the penalty spot and is always crashing into Maguire.
This is appalling stuff.
FBs move up or tuck in, but there is no one picking that wide space because wings don't track back and midfielders have other assignments.
To say it's bad is an understatement. It just doesn't make any sense to do it like that. Brainless players coached by an inept tactician and zero preparation done by the backroom staff.
