A place to discuss weather and climate. Let’s try not to turn this into a natural disaster video porn thread. Current events are chill though. Seems like NY is in for a crazy storm tonight. Brag about being dry and warm or complain about being cold and wet. Tell us about the seasons. Share your picture of that perfect first beach day. Pac … you can always talk the about the temp settings on your AC since you don’t go outside. Is it a balmy 68 or a comfy 72? Got climate study, rad. Probably not the conclusion of the study, but rad to discuss none the less

I check the above link quite often. La Niña conditions are not good for the drought in California. The last El Niño conditions didn’t produce enough rains. Looks like we’re in for another dry fall and winter here in CA based on the website. Great.
The weather today, was quite nice though. Dropped into the low 70’s in Tustin this evening. Opened the window and let the breeze in. Should be nice and mild for sept tbt next couple week tho. Looks like one day will touch 90, but rest will be low to mid 80’s

I've experienced two 80F degree days in the past two months in San Francisco. Else it's been perpetually 55-65F, overcast, and extremely windy.

Global warming and this drought in California has essentially fucked up the trees in my area. Most trees are balding and some have leaves turning already even though it hasn't gotten cold enough yet. It's quite depressing to see.
My apartment's AC is never goldilocks, it's always too hot or too cold, no matter the thermostat's setting. It's a goddamn bitch, that's what I mean. In limited testing, my new townhouse's AC seems better, but I won't know for sure until I finally move in.
Back to you, Fender, and to the rest of you damn kids, get off my lawn.
PS... summer sucks. Fuck summer right in the eye socket, and most of spring and a lot of autumn, too.

I know this is a thread about the world climate but maybe we should refocus on Pac's personal drought and help him become not so angry anymore
I do wish it would rain more often. Like everyday. Fuck the goddamn sun.
Perpetual overcast, that's what I want. Perhaps I should move to the Pacific northwest, if not for that bullshit heatwave they got earlier this summer. You have no idea how much that wrecked my dreams.

Naturally, that's an escape route, but Horse would have to undo Brexit first.

I know! Fucking heartbreaking.
Got a friend who saw one of the Jersey nados from his own digs. Had me on edge, was messaging me, he's okay now but they're in for some flooding in his area too.

I think we had 2 sunny weekends without rain.
Every other day has been windy, rainy and moderate temps.
Here it's pretty nice. Bit windy but otherwise who can complain about high 70s low 80s then dropping down into a nice 60s at night, easy sleeping.

2 too much
Overcast. 24/7/365, for the love of god. Unfortunately, some extreme(?) climate change scenarios render North Carolina and indeed most of the United States a fucking desert mere decades into the future.
It's all that Republican dy_hard's fault.
Hot AF in the California deserts this year. Getting cooler and all I can say is finally. Now if we could get some rain, especially for the fire over in Northern California that would be much appreciated Mother Nature. Kthxbye.
This area got slammed last night. I drove in it after staying at work until 830p or so. Some of the most stressful driving I’ve had to do in recent memory. And this was the remnants of Ida. An actual Major hurricane (3-5) would be devastating. The only thing saving the NE (for now) is the colder waters, but that shits heating up quick. 8 people died from the events last night, let a CAT 5 hurricane hit the Tri-state area smh.
Was thinking about selling my car and just taking the train to work but I don’t want to be caught in a NYC flood in the subway.
Perfect timing to change my mind.

Fall doesn't really exist anymore. I'm making my own artificial Fall with Bath and Body Works scents and decorating my house for fall and Halloween.
By Patriotism Go To PostFirst August I remember where I didn't see the Sun once. Fuck this overcast shit.
Put me in touch with one of your local realtors, thanks.

Weather in LA these past few days has been perfect. Cool cloudy mornings, highs in the 70s and low 80s

Odd for this time of year
By Lupercal Go To PostIs PAC a ginger? Is that why he hates the sun?
The sun is a murderer. A superheated cold blooded killer.
New York really got that fucked up eh. Don't even get flooding that bad here and we are at sea level. Only time it gets that bad is when a major hurricane rolls through which last was about 19 years ago.
