By Hitch Go To PostHe's nowhere bear good enough for Man Utd in any roleHe’s good enough to be a squad player for Man Utd. We’re not talking about prime Barcelona.
Lingard's importance even as a squad player has diminished significantly in the last 18 months. He was genuinely terrible in Solksjaers first season proper as manager. He barely played after we signed Bruno. The signing of Sancho just pushes him further down the depth chart. Dan James was preferred over him and we've already sold him because he's not good enough.
By bone Go To PostCorrupt shitbags trying to steal 3 points on the table. Why wait until the ball rolls to intervene?
police/government interfering would mean brazil forfeit, not the other way around. fifa dont like politics, remember.
sensational shitshow though.
Emi Martinez and Lo Celso played against Venezuela in Venezuela on Thursday? Why should they have to quarantine?

Cause England is on Brazils 'red zone' right?
By Wahabipapagooz Go To PostCause England is on Brazils 'red zone' right?Right but they played in Venezuela on Thursday so what does flying in from England have to do with this for them? I understand the argument for Buendia and Romero since they did fly in from England after the Venezuela game and weren't part of the squad versus Venezuela. Martinez and Lo Celso' last destination before Brazil was Venezuela not England.

Well I have no idea how Brazils isolation rules work, seeing as they mostly make no sense anywhere. But I would guess it doesn't matter that they were in another country for a few days first?
By Laboured Go To PostRoute doesn't matter. If you've been in England in the last 14 days you need to quarantine.Ok thank you for the clarification
i understand messi is a criminal and all, but feels like injustica that he's arrested before, and correct me if wrong here, known accused rapist (of Mayorga) Ronaldo.
By Xpike Go To Postif the health officials knew they couldnt play why did they wait until mid match
reirom runs their health office.
By Laboured Go To PostJust shows he's also better at crimes than Messi.
truly better at everything. i respect it.
By Xpike Go To Postif the health officials knew they couldnt play why did they wait until mid matchEither gross incompetence or they wanted to steal 3 points on the table on a technicality. Pick one.

Not a chance in the world it wasn't on purpose and at the behest of the people running the country.
It's not like some mid-level civil servants missed some Outlook calendar reminders and turned up late just for the fuck of it.
A decision will have been made that forfeiting 3 points is worth it to make a big show of it (since both of these teams will qualify in their sleep).
Edit: And here we go. Classic strongman stuff
Argentina/Brazil isn't even today's biggest football cluster fuck. Guinea/Morocco was called off due to an attempted military coup in Guinea. AFCON always stays on top.
Why the fuck is Byron Castillo on the bench if he was our man of the match during his NT debut on Thursday vs Paraguay? Why are Plata and Estrada on the bench? Enner Valencia hasn't scored a goal for us in two years. This is a fucking awful lineup. So sick of this team being used as a showcase to sell players instead of picking the best players to try to win. This reeks of Michel Deller's tentacles. He's the owner of Independiente del Valle and also the VP of our FA.
Brazil is still relatively clean from the Delta variant and we've seen the best numbers of deaths at the moment since December 2020, I can see why Anvisa is crazy about that, but allowing them to enter the country in the first place was the biggest mistake.
We got close to 5k deaths average per day earlier in the year, we're now at 600 more or less.
Fuck those Argies lying about their destination. Once Delta dominates here it might get real ugly again.

By Daz Go To PostThe way Ole has handled the whole donny thing has been so dumb.Yeah, he would totally slot in our first 11 considering how poor our midfield is
And I really don't think Man United would see as a competitor
It’s a bit of ‘six of one, half a dozen of the other’.
Donny is simply not good enough to start over Pogba and Bruno, and if he or his agent (or Bold) believes he is then there just isn’t any evidence to the contrary, and he clearly isn’t impressing enough in training either.
However, it also speaks to Ole’s lack of trust in anyone outside of his starting XI (plus 2/3 others), as well as his inability to have a Plan B when his Plan A fails.
On paper, Donny should be getting more game time. But ultimately if the manager doesn’t trust him to come on and change a game, then that’s also something that probably indicates he isn’t good enough.

By faridmon Go To PostThen why block a loan move?.
🤔
You simply don't fuck with Anvisa and the Federal Police (independent entities). One of the few institutions that are serious over here.
By Xpike Go To Postif the health officials knew they couldnt play why did they wait until mid matchApparently they only found out yesterday about it, that's why they were allowed in in the first place.
I wonder why they didn't look at their passport, surely they could've realized that back then. Don't know how those check ups work on the airports.

Because the squad that ran away with the PL last year is packed full of quality players and we want to do the same?

Donny is a victim, somewhat, of our lack of top level coaching. I think he'd be brilliant in a system that has actual predefined tactics and attacking structure. He's excellent at finding space and making dummy runs etc. That's a huge asset in structured teams.
But we're more about the players expressing themselves and leaving the opposition cold with a bit of brilliance. It's great when it works and almost impossible for opposition video analysts to prepare their team for. But often against well organised sides we struggle because of our lack of structure.
Ultimately Donny won't make it at United. Partly that's Olé's fault. But some blame has to be put on the player. He's just not been that good in his appearances. I've no doubt that if we sold him he'd go on to do much better things. He just doesn't fit the team. He's more about working with a collective rather than by himself.
