By n8 dogg Go To PostCheers lads. And happy bday big looneyAugust babies are the best.
4th. Same day as the legends Barack Obama, Louis Armstrong, Billy Bob Thornton, Meghan Markle, Percy Shelley and Antonio Valencia. And the twins from Suite Life.
Also the day Dom Perignon invented champagne, the British Empire declared war on Germany in WWI, Anne Frank was found and arrested, and the Moroccans defeated the Portuguese in the Battle of Alcácer Quibir. Truly a momentous occasion.
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes
There's a rumour that we've agreed a £25m fee for Willock with Newcastle which seems good as long as we reinvest it into strengthing our midfield, which is where I kind of have my doubts.

By scently Go To PostWell, we are managing the incoming part well enough, it's the outgoing that is the hold-up. Need to clear up a lot of the extra weight to free up wages. That's the main issue as opposed to fees I'd imagine.Man City fans, man.

Just don't really believe it, not entirely convinced he'd want to come here on a perm either. Why the fuck would he?!

Coventry City wasted no time in snapping up talented Irish forward Ricardo Dinanga after bitter rivals Sunderland couldn’t agree a compensation fee for his services.
The 19-year-old Sky Blues summer signing from Cork City has revealed that he was close to joining the League One Black Cats after a successful trial earlier in the year.
But he says the deal fell flat over finances and Coventry nipped in, wasting no time in putting their hand in their pocket to fork out the required fee.
“I was delighted to sign with Coventry,” said the teenager, speaking to Echolive, while also revealing Ipswich Town expressed an interest.

Police said the teenager had been riding on an uneven piece of land when the bike rolled backwards and fell on top of him. Firefighters had to pull him free of the wreck before medics tried to revive him, but their efforts proved in vain and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Edit: This is his older brother but probably a similar sized bike.

I'm not just being flippant, the rumours haven't come from any kind of good source. The rumours that he was having second thoughts about signing on a perm however did come from (slightly) more legitimate sources.
Liverpool wearing black shorts in their friendly on now. Not right. Surely there's some laws against that.
Fucking hell Rafa.
Planning for some big punt-ball next season. DCL to already have dementia by 2022.

Dwight McNeil is quality, the rest of the buys, yeah sure, but this dude is the one player I am excited about
He can both cross, have pace and can beat a player
we never had that kind of player that season

This would suggest not so much. He's a crossing machine and he's good if you're into that sort of thing.

By Laboured Go To PostThis would suggest not so much. He's a crossing machine and he's good if you're into that sort of thing. Those stats are actually good considering Burnley's play style. he HAS to cross because of the frontline Burnley have. He has been touted to have godo technique and good ball retention, even in this Burnley team

These stats depict a player who can pass a ball but doesn’t particularly have anything special. While his numbers are exaggerated by the setup that Dyche uses, which generally has lower passing rates, one stat that does stand out is his passing length of 20.93m, which conveys how he always passes with intent, rather than aimlessly shuffling around the ball.
Excellent dribbling technique by McNeil using his low centre of gravity and technical ability to surpass the Spurs defenders. (Wyscout)

“Dwight is an attacking player and loves to get on the ball,” Pepper said.
"He has tended to play wide for he first team, but was mainly used in central midfield for the U23s, where he excelled.
“A lot of wide players like to dribble, get forward and put crosses in, but not necessarily track back.but Dwight has really added that to his game. From his scholarship years he has really bought into that and worked hard.”

City going to take out a bunch of loans to sign Messi + a new world record kit deal out of nowhere with Etihad coming + and the Bernardo sale and somehow all their previous outgoing transfers from the last five years gonna appear on this season’s books. Incredible how they manage to scrounge up these funds from thin air - Txiki and Soriano run a tight ship.
