By FligureSkatingFlan Go To PostA soft pen and an own goal. All our goals until the Ukraine match had been from open play. We hadn’t been gifted any goals from defensive mistakes like a lot of other teams, no pens or anything like that. Unlike a lot of own goals, there wasn’t much Kjaer could do and it was going to go in regardless.
If they win this thing, it’ll be the least convincing Euro victory since … the last Euro tournament.
By Nor Go To PostDoes football have the hottest players of any sport?Maybe but there's so many footballers so it's just a bigger pool to choose from and you end up with most ugly and most good looking athletes simply by numbers
And they have athletic bodies where they aren't overly built or muscular but not scrawny or chubby(usually) as the sport doesn't really suit those, so they all typically end up with attractive bodies at the least
And then it's just a matter of what their face looks like

By Eternity Go To PostSterling player of the tournament? For england that may be the case.Who in Spain?
Italy and Spain have players that are far more worthy of such accolades.
Kane was genuinely one of the worst players (considering expectations) in the group stage. Improved massively since

In general there aren't so many outstanding players. A lot of good team efforts.

I am honestly amazed at the price being mentioned, and Milan. He is a talented kid who played a lot for us, despite being so young, but he really is struggling with end product. Amazing technique though, and he did seem to start getting really good at the end of the last season, and then the u21 euros where he was easily man of the match against the germans. this was at a u21 where many were fucking 23 years old. Nice pace as well. Leipzieg been trying to get him since he was like 16.

By Pennywise Go To PostPedri, Olmo and Busquets. Wouldn't put them past Sterling though. Those 3 looked good, especially Olmo (even though I thought he missed so many good chances) but none of them came close to how Sterling has played this tournament. Sterling has been outstanding.

By Wahabipapagooz Go To PostThanks.I think I read somewhere that Milan's focus is going to be on young players with a strong will, a lot of potential and technical ability. They are counting on being able to develop them into having more of an end product in time.

Looks good in those two clips.
I know I'm an old cunt but the number of England performances in these competitions I've watched where they've sat back towards the end and not been able to string 2 passes together and then succumbed to the pressure had gotten ridiculous. The way we closed that out was completely alien to me.

Pedri was easily one of the top 5 players this tournament. Sterling is MVP of the tournament so far though.
I do think it's premature to discuss yet though as the final is quite important to that discussion

Fucking loved it. Wondered how many passes we put together at one point. Felt like hundreds

Yeah makes sense. He's also a good kid. No attitude from him ever, even when he was benched this season, and from all reports is very good at training too.

I loathe when teams that can't defend protect their lead by playing too defensively and inviting pressure
