By Hitch Go To PostFucking engine on Sterling as well as the pace and close controlStrange how shit he has been for City yet carrying this England team
By Pedja Go To PostPickford againWe should institute a full 10-point scale for judging all the dives in the final. You know both England and Italy will be up for it.
Is Peter Drury on ITV? I’m watching the broadcast with him commenting and yeah he’s too hype. Pls stop
By Scum Go To PostWow.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostWe’ll be fine lads. We’ve got this.
By Willkiller Go To PostDo we though?
DO WE THOUGH?
Yes we fucking do
By Fergie Go To PostSterling is amazing. His dribbling has been absolutely sensational all tournament.
I’ll be honest.
End of EPL I wasn’t that bothered if we were looking to sell him.
He’s really showed up this tournament.

Not sure on Southgates management of this entire game. Felt he fucked up by putting on Foden and Grealish rather than Sancho and Rashford. The space was out wide rather than centrally. They won that game through brute force of quality rather than tactical guile.
England have far greater squad depth than Denmark but didn't use it intelligently for the most part. They were by far the better side after about 60 minutes where the Danish were clearly tiring. But they didn't press home that advantage in the final 30 minutes. It'll be more challenging against the Italians. The latter have a better squad and the best manager in the tournament by a mile. They'll be able to exploit England's lack of creativity centrally.
England have by far the strongest squad left, but I think Southgates conservatism will hinder them.

Sterling was great, and Kane did extremely well when dropping back, to create all that space for Saka and Sterling. Midfield for England is terrible though, and even with Italy not looking great recently too... I think they got this
By Scum Go To PostBring me Sterling, inky.Straight swap for Citizen Kane
Hopefully this desperate struggle against Denmark will remind Southgate not to be a tit against Italy.
Can’t really believe it. Never thought I’d see us in a major final.
But more than that, I saw England come from behind to win a semi final. I saw England dominate, continually put pressure on, not panic, keep passing the ball. I saw England make sensible subs, switch to 3-4-3 to maintain the lead with the insurance of Sancho and Rashford still to come on and a sub be subbed with no gripes whatsoever because of the spirit in this team. I saw England hold onto the ball for about three minutes to play out the game without hoof ball.
I’m so so proud. They’ve just been amazing. And even if/when we lose on Sunday, what a fucking journey it’s been.
