€30m for Camavinga can't be right. We'd be competing with half the clubs in Europe if that were the case. No way we'd get a free shot at him.
Or maybe we would? I'm still in shock that we were the only club after Sancho. A guy who could potentially become the best player of his generation.

It's probably true, cause he isn't very good
Sancho I'm not too surprised about. Because of the fee. Not many clubs want or can pay that

If he's really available for €30m it's kind of a no lose situation. If he doesn't work out he can still be sold for a decent fee in a few years. He's still just 18 so there'll be plenty of teams willing to take a punt.
As for Sancho, I'm sure his price tag was too much for some clubs. But the guy is a world class talent in the making.

Sure, I also think more will be in for Camavinga in the end. But I wouldnt be so sure of it ending up being a good deal.
Sancho might be a huge talent, but I just dont see who other than United would buy him. Chelsea are very reluctant to pay those prices these days, and fairly well covered in those positions, if Roman is paying big money this window it's going to be for a striker. City got their own talent hope with FoGod and also got lots of other quality for the wings, Liverpool cant even buy a proper CB when everyone are injured. So who else would really be interested enough in Sancho to pay 100m?

The circumstances surrounding football and the drop in revenue caused by lockdown restrictions definitely played their part too. I'm sure Barca and Madrid could have made a move, but both are struggling financially at the moment.
I think Liverpool probably would have sold one of their front three and used that money to go for Sancho, but they couldn't find buyers.

Not seen this Camavinga lad play so have no idea what he's like. Maybe he's the next in line to #Unlock Pogba.
If we are moving ahead and trying to sign an midfielder I hope it means that we've made very good progress on signing a CB. Would be suprised if we are working on 2 deals at once. This is United after all.
Really hope we can manage to get Varane. Would be an exceptional signing, but have doubts we'll get it done.

By barber Go To PostEven United didn't pay 100m for Sancho, so I agree that nobody would
Well no one are really in the market to use 75 or whatever for him either right now.

Is France v Brazil the most recent iconic match? The Ronaldo/Zidane WC match, honorable mentions starring Ronaldinho, Ribery and R. Carlos.
The Germany and Brazil pounding comes to mind too but for other reasons.

Or maybe you can describe what your interpretation is of iconic

In other words, no fun allowed? ;)
Can't believe there's only three games left, knockouts have flown by
Almost makes me wish Spain and Denmark could play in the third place playoff.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostThat iconic Roberto Carlos goal was in a friendly too IIRC.
Can't find anything on whether Le Tournoi '97 was a friendly competition.

By Euros-batong Go To PostOuch, same for the other one when it gets available i presume. Might be triggering that price for a final ticket though.
The only tickets I was offered from Chelsea for the champions league final cost £515 each not including travel. I was tempted because I have saved so much not going out this last year that I could afford one massive blowout but it just felt wrong in principle spending that much on one game. Apparently Chelsea couldn't sell their allocation of tickets priced that high and ended up giving them back to Uefa.
By Laboured Go To PostWill look away
Fucking hell
By Perfect Blue Go To PostSurely better for Southampton to just keep him another season. Unless Chelsea offer them 50m, no one is going to give them a fee high enough to bother. Maybe if Spurs sell Kane
lol
Guendouzi was a good player but clearly something went wrong in the Dubai trip and that only intensified when he put his hands around Maupay. Serious attitude problems.

In 2015, BBC predicted what the England team would look like at this euros: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50455309
Wilshere is still in his twenties

Tbf, they've done them before and that one is a fair bit more accurate than some of the previous ones.
Yeah that isn't that bad a prediction. If this shit was easy, clubs wouldn't need a huge scouting department innit
Some guys did a Chelsea one which wasn’t as accurate: https://www.mylondon.news/sport/football/football-news/how-chelsea-could-line-up-five-8955291
Poor Dom.

The weirdest one is cahill. How could you not think Chelsea would have a better alternative than cahill being 35 or whatever

Footballs governing bodies are hell bent on ruining everything good about football.
Part of the reason why the World Cup is so special is because it only comes around once every four years.

The 30m was mentioned back in May. 🤔
Word from GFFN is this (particularly the €30m fee) is very much being pushed by his agents at present.
