Especially when they looked wankered in the Sweden game
By Laboured Go To PostBad imoI'd be concerned about this if I was a city fan.
By sohois Go To PostWere people actually expecting Belgium to win? Their golden generation was 14, 16 and 18. The team they have now are pretty much the last few survivors. Lukaku, De Bruyne and Courtois the only players at their peaks
No.
belgium were the better team, wouldn't have been surprising if they won. especially if kdb wasn't injured.
2. Chelsea
3. Liverpool
4. City

QED.
People will be happy to know that FIFA 22 will introduce the most important thing in modern football, xG stats.
People misuse and misinterpret xG massively. It’s an indicator of a team’s potential and ability to create good chances, arguing that over a sustained period of time a high xG score (and inversely a low xGA score) is a sign of a team playing well. It shouldn’t be used on a game to game basis to declare a team who ‘should have won’, but absolutely has its merits over a season.
Belgium got a very harsh pen, from a nothing situation, that counts 0.75 to expected goals... expected goals is not conclusive evidence of who played better.
People that try to use xG as evidence of who "played better" really miss the point. There are certain things that stats will never be able to represent about football, that's the beauty of it.
It is, however, a seriously impressive mathematical algorithm that really does explain how many goals should have been scored in a game more often than not.

relax nerds i wrote qed hoping people would understand i'm not being serious
the game was close enough that it could have gone either way though. italy didn't look that good, not gonna be able to rely on insigne wonder goals. would say england will smash em, but it'll probably be spain in the final.

By Xpike Go To PostIt does not matter who is the opponent, as it is coming home either way
It truly is. 30 years after his father won it, it's now Kasper's turn

So after Jason Steele got a move to a PL club after failing at Sunderland I didn't think a transfer could ever surprise me.
Remi Matthews, who is even worse than Jason Steele, is moving to Palace to be their third choice.
Apparently all you need to be a reserve PL keeper is to have a pair of working hands. That's it.

So guys, after the Euros, is there interest in doing a Superbru for the PL or CL or whatever or nah?
Surprised Yussuf Poulsen isnt starting. But the bench is looking strong if Denmark needs goals
I probably would. Way more fun than fantasy football shit for me.
