UK boys: I failed my driving test today with one major and five minors. Reason being that when I was halfway through parallel parking, a car came up behind me and indicated to go round me and I didn’t stop to let it, therefore I was causing a serious obstruction.
Does that sound shady? I was already at a 45 degree angle and about to reverse. Should I get priority to finish the manoeuvre?

As a first timer, it's hard for me to say what counts as a major. But to me it makes sense, if they indicated to go around you and you just didn't let them, I can see that being a major. It's bullshit of course, but some of the reasons they can fail you instantly are.

Doesn't mean it's not a major fault in a driving test though

So frustrating when I’m halfway through the manoeuvre man. I didn’t think there was even space for them to go round me. Sucks. £62 more coming out my fucking pocket and I can’t even get a test until 2022.

Like sohis said, real world driving and test driving are two very different things. Learn to drive is piss easy, learning to pass the test can be a different beast. So many people I know failed for such innocuous things.
Unlike Ole winning a trophy though, it will happen for you.
Funny thing is that I drive like 45 mins every day lol. Insured on my gf’s car. I just can’t go out without her 🌞
Oh definitely, I failed first one and passed my second with the instructor basically saying "im gonna pass you but sometimes I wonder what you're thinking" ☠️

The fourth I nailed but I was "too nervous and I talked too much".

The Netherlands is such a fucking rip off.
haha yeah thinking the same. It's so fucking expensive, the whole thing here (paid almost 2000 euros for the mandatory learning) and then had to pay about 100 euros for both written and driving test.
By Wahabipapagooz Go To Postagain?!I believe the driving test is around 120 euros yeah. In the end I went well over 2000 euros in total.

If the offer is really £45-50m we should take it. Pogba is an incredible talent, but one we've never really figured out how to use properly. The signing of Sancho means we aren't missing a creative player if Pogba is no longer there.
Sell him and use the money to secure Varane and maybe a DM.

I agree.
If we want to play a double pivot he doesn't suit it. I don't like him as a LW either. There's been talk of playing a 3 with a DM but it only seems like we'll get that DM if we sell someone like him. We have a lot of other number 8s too (albeit they are not as good as Pogba). And then there's the issue that every team seems to (sometimes quite successfully) target Pogba as a weak link in transition.
I think now's the time if he's not willing to take £350k a week. Would very happily take Cummyvinga as a replacement.
Winks is not happening
Just Spurs making up that rumour to get another side bod for him
Happy for us to flog Bernard. He was on 110k a week which was a stupid signing in the first place

loved how no one gave a shit in the philippines. you could get a drivers license if you really wanted one, but that was just driving around in a basement of a mall a bit and then you could get it
A few danish girls I worked with got stopped on their scooters a few times too, but they never actually asked for a license. Just wanted to talk to white girls 💀

oh fuck i forgot i also had to pay up for first aid course (two days!!!) and that vision test that took no time, but still cost like 60 euros

First aid course 20-50€. And there's also pictures and the town/district application for a license that costs 30-40€.
By Laboured Go To PostI agree.Yeah Pogba on the left worked some of the time. He was a good option to play an out ball too because of his great technique at controlling long passes. And it destabilised defences who had to deal with his creative passing through the channels. But I always felt that a fully fit Rashford offered a greater threat from there. A more direct runner and had the speed to run in behind that Pogba lacks.

I'm still a bit wary of losing Pogba as we don't have any sort of progressive passers in central midfield without him. But If we sold Pogba and bought a DM we could move Bruno back from 10 and pair him with Fred/McTominay and a DM. We wouldn't lose much or any creativity up front as we now have Sancho for that. And Bruno could still so a lot of damage from a but deeper. Plus a solid holding midfielder would get the best of Fred/McTominay as well.
Although that might be too much upheaval. And I'm also reluctant to move Bruno from his advanced position where he's done so much damage. Selling Pogba is the right thing to do if we recruit well after that. Signing Varane strengthens our defence and even if we don't get a DM after that we're still in a net positive thanks to the Sancho signing. It's all good things really.
By inky Go To PostI've seen uni degrees with fewer prerequisitesYeah unless you're in eastern Europe it's generally quite strict and expensive to get your license
No one would pass here if those were required.
Fucking hate driving glad I live somewhere that I have 0 need to. Ban cars in major city centres pls.

Only thing re Bruno is it felt like his impact was waning at 10 a little by the end of the season but that could well be due to the fact that his legs were about to fall off, or simply had fallen off.
Great thing with Varane if it happens is the space he can cover. I feel like Ole's system needs pace as a pre-requisite as we stretch player spacing in possession to a ridiculous (arguably needless) degree.
im bout to go on my 4th driving test to see if i pass despite driving almost every day to work pre-covid

We were so utterly dependant on him to create something that he had to play every game. By the final few fixtures he was knackered and didn't influence the game as much as he had before. He could definitely work well as an 8. His range of passing could out Sancho and Rashford into all sorts of threatening positions.

Varane is definitely quicker than Lindelof and less prone to injuries and fucking up than Bailly. Could be the perfect partner for Maguire. Plus if it frees Maguire to start marauding up the pitch with the ball, it's possible that we don't necessarily need a brilliant progressive passer in the middle.

Haaland to Chelsea next season then I guess.

I guess VDB was brought in with view of Pogba leaving. Hopefully he can have a good season.

I'm still not convinced on present day Varane. Maybe all he needs is a change of scenery, maybe he's finished. But I'm glad we are making moves at least.

By n8 dogg Go To PostShould use Lingard like Gaz did at WC18Think Lingard stays and will be a good rotation option off the bench.
There are basically no strikers on the market even close to as good as Kane is, and certainly none that we could actually get.
