Oh no
Rooney suggests England should play Kane and DCL up top against Scotland and just put in a lot of crosses. I understand how he almost got Derby relegated
Genuinely sad that Rooney is done at 35. His genius should have allowed him to still be playing at a decent level. Someone like him should be a reminder to all players that you got to take care of your body 100% of the time.
It is a bit silly that if England win group D or come second then they will face the runners up of one of the other groups.
In fact if they win the group its almost certainly going to be a harder tie as they face the runners up of group F which is going to be either France, Portugal or Germany (sorry Hungary but you are already dead). If they come second they face the runners up of group E which is going to be Spain, Poland, Slovakia or Sweden.

Not exactly.
It basically goes into why if you're playing a doouble pivot system, you ideally need to have Carrick-esque passers which in turn would improve both our attack and defense.
Basically Fred and McTom are the wrong style of midfielder for a double pivot (as is Pogba because he's not positionally disciplined).
What the article doesn't deal with is the way Fred and McTom defend, which is a predisposition to risky interceptions rather than intelligently covering channels.

Didn’t Sweden just demonstrate that they are not as big a pushover as suggested?

Don't think it means too much with the capacity limitations, atmosphere seemed incredibly flat for the Croatia game to me

I’m sure he would love to leave. Cant blame him.

Agreed......but not if the game at Wembley is against France
Shame for Henderson. Pickford is probably going to play every game regardless.
Now send Rashford home as well pls.

Heartbroken that Henderson is going home to recover from an injury. Would be awful if it happened to more of our players.
