Unlucky for Denmark they looked like they were slapping that cock all around the vag without actually putting it in.

Well taken goal.
He's amazing for Belgium yeah, beat the goals record for NT. He's improved quite a bit at Inter really.

Strict diets, maintaining top shape, over 15ish years - I can understand professional athletes letting go after retiring
If they're not doing it during their career(eg. Shaw, Hazard) then it's fine

i mean yeah, obviously they would have to play it at some point.
honestly think it was better to just get it over with, imagine trying to sleep with the match still pending
By Wahabipapagooz Go To Posti mean yeah, obviously they would have to play it at some point. It's obviously pretty much impossible to reschedule anything in such a packed tournament. But it's honestly the same disgusting shit as it was with BVB. There's really no need to say the players wanted to play today. They had 3 options, all of them garbage, and they chose one of them. Shit situation for everyone but sell it as that.

The penalty is the only situation you felt that Denmark was affected, I actually thought they played better in the second half than in the first, they just couldn't finish but Finland also defended well.

Was about the same in both halves really, second half a lot more hectic from denmark and without any real rythm to the play. Thought the change in play was obvious. But they got the chances with some proper target man tactics near the end.
However, not to make excuses about losing to fucking Finland, but you actually only think it was only at the penalty you could see them being affected? It was pretty damn obvious they all were. Kjær had to be subbed off as well. He had already said before they went on again that he wasnt sure he could keep playing, and in the end he went out and asked to be subbed off after like 20 min on the pitch.
The players did make the decision though, which maybe shouldn't have been in their hands anyway. But whatever, there isnt any good solutions at a time like that. They were no doubt relieved to see Eriksen be alive and ok, but they were very obviously affected. When the alternative is to play at noon the day after, I guess they didn't have much of a choice tbh. This ultimatum wasn't clear earlier but it makes sense though. But it wasn't like they could just go ahead and get this out of their systems before playing the last 45 min. However as said, obviously it had to be played.
It is a bit strange though that rules have been implemented, that can see re-scheduling of 48 hours if a squad got covid, but when this happens 16 hours is what you can get max.
Anyway well done to FInland. They clearly dont have much quality, but they had a pretty decent game plan. and I am sure they were also affected both from seeing a player drop dead, and from the long sudden break. They could certainly have won over Denmark regardless of that.

Delaying by like 15 hours is probably worse in every way cause players will be exhausted physically as well due to sleeping badly. And I didn't know Covid could cause 48 hours delays which makes this situation even much worse...

I honestly don't know Denmark's national team well enough to properly judge if they were worse or not in the second half. I just thought Schmeichel could have saved that goal under different circumstances.
Can’t shake the feeling off yet, I’m still shook to my core. I’m so glad he’s ok but that was deeply disturbing to witness regardless.

Gareth fucking up BOTH full back positions there. And Sterling…urgh.
I’d rather White at CB over Mings too.

Was horrible to watch Eriksen yesterday, really glad he is ok. Only 29 years old and in a good shape and this happens.... Hopefully he'll be able to have a good quality of life and there is no consequences.
Reading that Grace Robertson series on England at the tournaments and I really think that Crouch was underutilized in his England career.
Heskey playing in the 2010 WC. His goalscoring record after he left Liverpool was terrible and even when he left Liverpool in 04 his legs weren't what they were a few years before.

By Hitch Go To PostAre other countries as shite as us at keeping the line-ups quiet during tournaments?
Everyone always knows lineups in advance in Italy. It was known ahead of our Czech friendly that whoever started that game would most likely be starting.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostYup, our Euro is done
Because of Cancelo? He was shit at Juve.
By Punished* Go To PostReading that Grace Robertson series on England at the tournaments and I really think that Crouch was underutilized in his England career.Feel like it never mattered how well he played in the friendlies and routine qualification games, and everyone just kinda accepted that. Back then one up front was just the done thing iirc, and Rooney was always going to take that spot when available.
Ended up with people using the teams he'd scored against as a reason not to play him against good teams, rather than a reason to use him more against them.
The trips thing is odd but I actually quite like the balance of the team. Phillips and rice will protect back four really well but think both are quite penetrative. I expect to see a few runs from deep from rice, and Phillips should be good enough to eventually find mount and Phil on the half turn. Don't expect much from sterling on the ball but off the ball he just has to run and run and run and run, needs to stretch and always be giving their defence something to think about. Pls don't pass to him tho.
Iirc, the purpose of taking Heskey was for him just to be a hold up man, doing the grunt work to make space for Rooney. But since Rooney was still unfit, he was basically a bit pointless
By sohois Go To PostWhy are Grealish and Sancho not starting?
Really think you could flip a coin between all four them. Grealish probably with least deserving.
