When England played their first qualifying match for this Euros, Bellingham was a 15 year old with no professional matches under his belt.

Really interested to see if Carlo is able to get "the best" out of all those disappointing signings. He's able to harmonize a team with a chaotic dressing room, but please remember: Bayern players complained at Rummenigge and Hoeness that they weren't training enough under Carlo.
The global manager situation is weird. Liverpool, Atletico and City are the only ones lucky enough to have stable world class managers.

Stability is overrated

It just isn't clicking anymore, like in his last season at Dortmund
Let the teams that can be bothered to fight it go tbh
See how far Madrid, Barca, Juve and Inter can get on their own

I've not read the reference but I assume this is as much about them whining that they should be allowed to particpate in the CL whilst also trying to destroy the CL.

Fucking hell just remembered 40 year old Ibra would have been in that squad as well.

Thought Wales' average age would be higher
Think I heard that 16 of their squad was at Euro 2016 as well, and they seemed to be in their primes then

Wales squad always seems to have a few 17 year olds with 5 club appearances who are also probably eligible for England...
Wouldn't he render AWB obsolete, and cost a fair bit given how long he's been at Atletico and how good he's been for them?
Feel like having a defensive fullback to come in against good teams never actually happens.

He'd be on a free.
AWB played way too much football this season and we're very lucky he didn't get injured. We've basically got no back-up for him right now apart from Williams who is terrible at RB.
I think it's pretty much the same plan we had with Shaw and Telles.
Ah, thought he'd only been at Atletico one year even though he played against us last season ¬¬
Seems a bit weird to sign a player up to just two years

Tbf to AWB he's improved his attacking game somewhat over the last season. He's still just too clunky on the ball tho.
And we know that he'll always do a good man marking job whenever he's asked. Was excellent against PSG in both ties.
And I think Trippier would come in for rotation and more competition. AWB is still our long term right back. He's only 23 while the former is 31 in September.

Thought I would have a quick look at the Euro 2021 outright winner odds on paddy power and they currently have England as favourites at 4/1

I would love to have him but it all circles back to Levy. More important than who we hire as manager is that Levy accepts and reflects on his mistakes. Just £10m more to secure Grealish and Bruno when they were in our hands could have stopped us losing £100m+ in CL revenue.
If Conte is coming here to work under the same conditions as Poch in his last years, then no point faxing him the contract.

you also got Bengtsson now... a guy who has been horrible even for a bottom half team in Danish league.
Conte will quit in a week when Levy tells him they can’t afford his most wanted signing Victor Moses.
Don't remind me.
Granqvist will apparently not play but there for the 'team spirit'. Like what's the point.

I just can't see him lasting with Levy. Even when you do give him everything he asks for (which Levy won't) he always wants more and threatens to leave.

I can't see anyone lasting with Levy, he is not a chairman who really wants to compete. Competing means investing more than just your matchday revenue and him and the owner don't want to do that.
Paratici and Conte coming in would be a sign that Spurs are serious in wanting to rebuild the side. But it would require Levy to park his ego and let them make the financial decisions around the playing/coaching side. Don't think he will tbh.
By LabouredPatriot Go To Post
Perhaps Levy is changing his ways after all. It's very clear that Levy is not capable of running the football and business sides of the club himself. He needs to stick to what he knows.

Some of you are too doom and gloom on Don Corlo. We played some of the best football during his time with us. Sure it's a different squad now but I'm optimistic about how he's going to setup the team with what the board provides him.
We're literaly 1 signing away from winning the league, need about 10-15 more goals. If Hazard wasn't always injured and fit we would have won the league - assuming he was just 1/2 the player he was when at Chelsea. Oddly enough Bale had 11 goals this season lol.
Caveat: I haven't seen Everton games, I heard they had some injury woes and that Ancelotti was mainly a bust there.
