Absolutely. Did incredibly well in the circumstances.
I know people will say it’s the bare minimum but given everything happening I could imagine many people freezing.
Medical team are heroes.
Thankfully they are rarely called to action in games, but being constantly prepared to be called on has hopefully saved his life.

Praises to Taylor and the medical team. Absolutely crucial work.
Hopefully the good news continues for Eriksen.

Just looking to see which players in the England squad have played with Eriksen. I think there is only Kane and Walker.
By Laboured Go To PostLol of course it does.

Ståle Solbakken collapsed there too (well the training ground), and was gone for quite some time. Couldnt make it back to actually playing though.

Trippier?
I would imagine something like this effects every footballer, every fan etc.
Christian Eriksen is awake and is for further examinations at Rigshospitalet.
The match is temporarily postponed. New message comes at 19.45.

England just called off media duties for the day as well.
Any current or former team mates must be gutted - and they're making some of them play in the Belgium match. Madness.
I would have been surprised if they cancelled the tournament even in the worst case. This is football we're talking about.

glad he's back up. I was at the gym and the whole place froze and was glued to the TVs. I was so locked in I didnt even notice until someone came and tapped me on the shoulder bc I was wearing a jersey.
By Daz Go To PostWas it exhaustion?
These players have been playing non-stop for nearly 18 months now.
You would hope this would lead to conversations about the workload put on elite players. Especially with things like AFCON moving back to January.
Obviously we all know better, but still…
By Daz Go To PostWas it exhaustion?we will know in a while, could always have been just an unknown medical condition

IIRC, he wasn't actually playing much for Inter until the turn of the year? At least not in comparison to a lot of other players.
Could still be a contributing factor though.
By Laboured Go To PostCunt thing to do. But doesn't surprise me. Expecting UEFA to announce a replay of DEN - FIN tomorrow. That's how they roll.

He played like 1600 minutes for Inter across all tournaments, and then a few matches for Denmark. So yeah, he wasn't overloaded there at least.
Even if that wasn't the cause I could see it happening to more players given how many games they're being asked to play.

really disgusting by all broadcasters who decided to continue with the UEFA feed
of course, the director of the broadcast needs to be fired inmediately
