The money situation is surely the biggest motivator for Wijnaldum, but the stress levels playing for PSG vs playing for Barça must be miles apart. I can’t imagine that Barça, with Koeman in place and the constant backroom instability, is a fun place to be a footballer.
It's a shame really that there's so much politics going on at Barca. Otherwise you could argue he could become part of a new revival. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. Aside from the money I do feel like PSG is absolutely the more attractive choice to make now, even football wise. Something I wouldn't think I would be saying about those two clubs a couple of years ago.
