Rabiot's, Pogba's and Mbappe's mums were fighting.
By Pennywise Go To PostStill unsure about him, cause he's still among those that worked with Löw.I loved him aside from club drama, for obvious reasons. He'll certainly have some flaws, particularly if we don't have better/faster CBs playing, but I can at least trust the attacking play to annoy me a lot less. The direct and aggressive play suits many of our young core I think. I'm not too worried about his past relationship with Löw after how well he did with us on his own. At the very least it can't be any worse than we have been.
Stefan Kuntz would have been a ballsy move. Did so well with the U21.
Never thought I would miss those two that much.
Kuntz would have been ballsy, and the u21's have been good. Perhaps I'm happier like this for now though so that the youth development stays high quality.
By Pennywise Go To PostStill unsure about him, cause he's still among those that worked with Löw.I think Hansi will be fine. He probably was the one behind the WC 14 win. Also, it's not like there's a lot of Löw's former key players left. Kroos all but confirmed he's retiring from international football with Löw. And other than Hummels or Müller maybe pushing for the next WC, Hansi can start from scratch basically.

I really hope we can get Kloppo back on TV when he retires as coach. WC 2006 coverage was soo good.

By n8 dogg Go To PostJesus you’re a miserable fucking clown. Can’t wait until you forget your password to every account you own brother.Genuinely wonder if Doicare derives any joy from this sport lol. Bizarre behaviour. Can’t be a real person.
Given that Italy, Belgium & Spain are all in the same half, surely we are legitimate favourites now. Not just in the UK, but across the world. Scary.
By Doicare Go To PostJust because a player scores doesn't mean they haven't played poorly and just because a team won doesn't mean the best players or formation was picked. I want England to win and after 20+ years of watching stupid England managers squander English talent i want somebody who knows what they're doing and Southgate doesn't.I agree with this statement.
Credit to England for the win but I don't think the tactics were right or anything. The players available to this team and they play like this? It's comedy. This team should be really good and most of this game was really poor. Not only that, but they barely beat a side managed by an even worse moron.
It also sticks out to me that England has most certainly earned a reputation for failing to take advantage of their players. My entire life they've been far below potential. Some of it is being overrated but a large part of it is that the actual talent is grossly misused. Southgate has some really creative attacking options available and they play regressive football. Perhaps that's "to win tournaments" but it's a waste of talented players.
By Probity Go To PostOk so now how do we remove Bierhoff? He survived so many shitty PR campaigns he "masterminded" that he probably needs to die
(Or retire)
For now, I just want to enjoy the moment. It's a metaphorical monkey off the back for the national team, and it's lovely to see.

The game was so boring that I spent 10 minutes trying to remember Maguire's first name.....
Every time I see the Swedish lineup I cringe. Ukraine will not be easy at all....

By Perfect Blue Go To PostGenuinely wonder if Doicare derives any joy from this sport lol. Bizarre behaviour. Can’t be a real person.Again people are so fragile to somebody having a different opinion, i back up what i say with facts but when so many people are this deluded and ignorant is it any wonder why the world we live in is such a shit place.
No player in an England shirt miscontrolled the ball and was dispossessed more than Sterling combining those stats, only one German player had a worse equivalent dispossession stat than Sterling. Sterling created zero key passes, his overall passing was poor, his decision making slow and he played the most stupid of back passes which put Muller clean through on goal where England were lucky to escape. But because he scored a tap in thanks to somebody else's brilliance that some how makes him great and i'm 'wrong'.
Southgate has a phenomenal attack to choose from but even tho Grealish, Sancho, Rashford, Foden, Mount and Henderson are better players he keeps playing Phillips, Sterling and now Saka. And to be clear i don't think Phillips, Sterling and Saka are shit it's just the other players are better and Southgate is stifling this England team's potential. It's not as if England are playing great, every game has been a struggle and England have played poorly.
