I’ve never been as angry with the Levy as I am now, other clubs are getting on with their transfer business we are still in stasis after 2 months without a manager. We have so much work to do on the squad and yet Levy is taking his dithering to a new extreme.
What are we doing? What is our plan? Every day that passes without a manager in place is doing tremendous damage to our preparations for next season. He’s going to have to pull of something incredible to get the fans back on side, I think he’s gone past the point of no return now. When the fans are back in the stadium next season he is going to get dogs abuse.

Best thing Levy could have done is appoint a high profile DoF like Paratici. Will at least take the spotlight off him in future transfer windows. But the last three years of disastrous transfer strategy and sacking of Poch/appoint of Mourinho and the ensuing failures is all on him.

We're finished
We’re finished but not because we didn’t sign a championship player for £35 million.

Can you imagine life if we had owners who actually put money into the club?
If we had an actual football structure with footballing directors and the such?

Buendia is a really fantastic player. A great signing for Villa.. I do wonder if selling will be worth it for Norwich in the end -- he could have maybe helped keep them up so replacing him well will be hugely important. Lose him for nothing and go down though and it's a double whammy.
That goal by Son today.. whew.

A week ago today was the Champions League final where Man City got Pep'd so i thought it would be fun for everybody to look back at what a joke their entire Champions League campaign was.
After failing to win the Premier League they were placed in pot two where they could have been drawn against the likes of Bayern, PSG, Real Madrid or Juventus but instead they got one of the easiest groups featuring Porto, Olympiacos and Marseille.
It was such a joke they played half reserve sides resting their first choice team players for the Premier League giving them a significant advantage in the title race.
In the first knockout round they could have drawn Atletico Madrid, Barcelona or Atalanta but instead they got the easiest draw possible against Borussia M.Gladbach a team so bad they finished 8th in the Bundesliga league.
In the quarter finals they could have played Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, Real Madrid or Liverpool. Did that happen tho........... nope they got the second easiest draw against Dortmund who had Sancho injured for both matches and during the first game Dortmund scored a perfectly good away goal but it was incorrectly ruled out with 'mysteriously' no VAR review which changed the outcome of the match.
In the semi-finals Man City were to play either Bayern or PSG with Bayern being the best team in Europe. But before those games could take place Bayern's star striker Lewandowski was randomly injured during an international friendly break costing Bayern the tie and PSG were lucky to get through after being outplayed in both legs.
During the semi PSG's star player Mbappe was playing with an injury in the first tie and was too injured to play at all in the second game. Also during the first match Neymar was fouled and injured fucking over PSG again. During the first leg PSG were the better team and City were lucky to win with goals against the run of play which ultimately cost PSG the semi-final.
So after spending over a billion pounds on transfers the most of any team in the world over the last 15 years Man City finally reached the Champions League final, all they had to do was not fuck it up after being gifted one of the easiest runs to a final in European history......
And what happened? They were completely outplayed by Chelsea as Pep's ego wanted to be centre stage and he decided to play with zero defensive midfielders and zero strikers. He played Gündoğan the club's top scoring midfielder who normally breaks into the box to score as the closest thing to a holding midfielder and forced him to sit deep. De Bruyne was supposed to be the creative focal point but he shat the bed doing nothing until his night was ended with a black eye when he ran into Rüdiger's cock. The entire City team bottled it and could have easily lost the game 3-0 as they were overran thanks to Chelsea wanting it more and Pep's hysterically bad tactics.
The funniest thing of all is City shouldn't have even been in the Champions League this year because they should have been kicked out for illegal financial doping but thanks to expensive lawyers exploiting loop holes to cover up City's fraud Man City got to play anyway.

By JesalR Go To PostI fully expect it to happen, but this feels a lot like last yearIt does.
A few factors lean more in United's favour this time around though. Another year has gone off Sanchos contract and it's been a full season without fans and their gate receipts. Dortmund might be feeling a financial pinch.
wow congrats on sancho, united lads. cant wait for a whole summer full of those tweets.
This thread was calling Mason Mount a championship player two seasons ago too. It's because they havent studied soccer for 15 worlds cups and because their opinions arent grownded in facts.

Don't think Grealish will look to leave this summer. But he's another who signed a long term contract when he was weighing up his future. If things go tits up at Villa he'll find it hard to force his way out.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostThank Christ. I really hope this is true. Rashford has developed into a great player, but he's been playing through injury for the last 18 months.
If we sign Sancho that takes some pressure off him to rush through his rehab. Also gives us a chance to give Amad more minutes.
