Just thinking about Danny Murphy saying England will be desperate to face Spain. Be careful what you wish for.

Spain are such an odd footballing nation. They've produced good players pretty consistently for decades. But other than a Golden Generation of players from about 2006-2012, they're historically a pretty mediocre side results wise. They haven't won as many competitions as their talent pool suggests.
This current crop is simply reverting to the norm.

By Lambda Go To Postgermany gets nothing out of this match wihtout the own goalsYou might not intend it but this almost comes off as sounding like own goals are purely the product of the team conceding. makes it sound like Portugal had the ball, and hit 2 own goals in on purpose. When in reality it's from an attacking chance that could have resulted in a normal goal anyway for Germany
fair play to them still
I mean regardless how it goes in, doesn't really matter haha

The players are very mediocre and they don't have any identity. Really what's their play here? cross and wait for the rat to score one of his 20 chances? at least Iniesta had some brain. It's amazing La Massia or la Fabrica has not produced shit after that generation

It's amazing La Massia or la Fabrica has not produced shit after that generationThe current Spanish side has a pretty good defence and midfield on paper. Thiago and Koké especially are excellent.
Their forwards aren't as good, but they should still be able to do so much more than they're currently showing. It's mostly just possession for the sake of it and no cutting edge. The midfielders take zero risks and seem more.docised on recycling the ball. And when they do actually create chances they can't finish them.
Also, Enrique isn't getting enough criticism for starting Marcos Llorente at full back. He's been a revelation for Atletico playing in advanced positions, but he's doing fuck all at full back.

By inky Go To PostSpain are the Spanish England, you could say.England would kill for Spain's midfielders and the Spanish would do the same for England's striker and wide forwards.

I said don’t mention it.
Especially Harris and Harden.
Or the fact that Durant would have won the game in regulation if his foot was half an inch back.
Don’t mention any of it.
Well, I just feel sorry for whatever kid KD is taking it out on on r/nba. I wonder what name he goes by these days...

It’s all good brothers. Played 43 seconds with the big 3 all series and less than 300 minutes all season and Bucks needed OT G7 to win. Next season they go again

You could say the same for the Netherlands. We've produced a lot of great players (and generations) over the years and have only won one tournament. And lost three world cup finales. C'est la vie.
