By Scum Go To PostI’m very ecstatic to hear about Mou looking out for players from his previous clubs.I'd take Hojbjerg for Bayern :( we need midfielders
Welcome to Roma - Dier, Hojbjerg and Matic.
In some ways I think Arteta might've been better off if he had to be under the guillotine like Ole is, instead of being hailed as the savior.

The number of manager sackings is down in the premier league this year on average. Partly due to fans not getting on the owners/managers back every week, partly due to clubs saving money, partly due to Watford not being in the premier league anymore.

Fuck Sergio Ramos. Earlier in the match Havertz also nutmegged Kroos to the shadow realm. What a performance in general from him last night.
By Elchele Go To Postremember EPL knobheads doubting Havertz lolI’ve already seen him described as a flop by pundits and fans. The dude seems to have been heavily affected by COVID-19 and Lampard playing him out of position and he’s still only 21 years old. Now that Tuchel is here he’s looked like an entirely different player. Dare I say even world class.
By Elchele Go To Postremember EPL knobheads doubting Havertz lolI'm sure Chelsea are delighted he did a pointless bit of skill, to add to his 4 goals all season

The Three Lions symbolises inclusivity? Really?
I know of a local sports club that has the Three Lions as their logo and there was uproar and threats of boycotting (from those who are 'at it') when someone suggested it could be changed. Silly for a sports club in NI to have the royal arms of England as the logo.

By Frustrated_me Go To PostWell time to become a 2 teamer and support an EPL club I guess. I choose Everton, their new stadium looks incredible.I knew I liked you for a reason
Welcome brother to the depressive abyss that is Everton where none of us are happy
No thanks.
My contribution to the CL final discourse is that the Atatürk Stadium is really quite ugly, not deserving of the good man's name (correct me patriotism)

For those waiting for the Europa League semi-finals, I give you something to watch before.
It's going to be quite a battle.
Benfica only has one objective left, reach the second place and get direct qualification for the Champions League group stage so to avoid the risk of being eliminated in qualifiers besides the need to start the season early in what has been a very hard season and with the Euro extending that season even more.
Only a win would do for Benfica and would put them just 1 point behind Porto.
The blue and whites from the north are still trying to stop Sporting from winning the league and nothing less than a win would put the decision on Sporting's hands in the next game.
A draw would put them 4 points ahead of Benfica with 9 points to go but Porto normally doesn't give up and they will do what they can to win it.
Game starts in about 10 minutes.

Martins can I get your take on Weigl and Marega? Weigl was never a superstar but he was still pretty much a regular at BVB when he left, so it was maybe an unusual move.
By Punished* Go To PostMartins can I get your take on Weigl and Marega? Weigl was never a superstar but he was still pretty much a regular at BVB when he left, so it was maybe an unusual move.Weigl had a rough start of his career at Benfica and there was even some talk in January that he wasn't happy in Benfica but he has improved and I have seen some Benfica fans claiming that his one of the reasons for Benfica doing better in the second half of the league.
I think he thought he would come to Benfica, be a star and move to somewhere better but the league is a bit tougher than he expected and Benfica didn't do well in Europe.
Marega is strong and quick but not that technically gifted, that doesn't stop him from scoring a lot.
Porto fans aren't that keen about him and he is probably on his way out to Turkey on a free transfer.
