HAZARD CABRÒN
xG for this game was 3.88 - 0.52. Second half alone was 2.79 - 0.11. As one-sided a big game as I've seen in awhile.
By inky Go To PostBack to back finals with different teams is mighty impressive.Paulo Sousa did this as a player, for Juve then Borussia, and won both, with the added curious fact that the Borussia win was against Juve. Pretty cool.
if you look at the teams city/chelsea have, the gap is not entirely because of money imo
Madrid and Barca (and others) have just let their entire organizations decay from top to bottom and instead do shit like buy Ceballos off a good U21 Euro tourney or players like Hazard and Coutinho for insane fees
Also insane Zidane still playing the same starting midfield after all these years, all of them were comfortably outran by Kante today

Lads, penalty or no penalty?
I think it’s a bit harsh but he has his arms spread out to occupy more space and the ball ends up hitting his arm.
By the letter of the law, it’s a penalty but I might be a bit biased.

By Xpike Go To Postif you look at the teams city/chelsea have, the gap is not entirely because of money imoPSG got rid of Tuchel and Thiago Silva, Madrid basically funded half of Chelsea's rebuild too.

They need to get a goal desperately and they bring in Rodrygo, Asensio and Diaz.
Even Arsenal has a better super sub, entirely because we bought a fetus from the Brazilian 4th division

Deco had the 2005 hiatus but won 2004 and 2006 with Porto and Barça. Although I guess there must to be a lot of examples like that.
By jts Go To PostNice.Yeah I'd assume that would be quite common

Have to remind myself that 3 of City’s starting 11 from last night played in the semi final of the FA Cup against Chelsea and one of them came off injured.
Dias, Ferna and KDB.
This weekends game should give a much better idea of how they’ll go toe to toe in the final.

By n8 dogg Go To Postso we’re all rooting for chelsea then yes lads?Still firmly in the 'hope an asteroid hits the stadium 2 seconds into the game' camp

I guess out of the two evils, It would be nice to have City cucked at the final hurdle they've worked towards for over a decade

Tuchel with a tactical master class exposing Zidane for the fraud he is. Excellent performance from the boys in blue.
City will be a difficult match because unlike Courtois, Ederson can actually distribute the ball so the pressing system deployed today against Real will be less effective.

I didn't want to make a big deal at the time but I still won't forget horse dropped Pogba rumours during a CL semi.
Guess who’s back??! Group stage guaranteed, we can’t go lower than second.
31 games without a loss, 19 clean sheets, 15 goals conceded, 56 scored.
Rúben Amorim is the first manager to go unbeaten for 31 games in the Portuguese league, the 4 managers who won the league without a loss only had a 16 team league.
3 games left, 4 points to win it but depending on what Porto does tomorrow and Monday, we could only need 3,1 or none.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostMartins, I want to congratulate you on achieving CL qualification and also most probably winning the Liga Nos title. Well deserved.

Thanks for always keeping us updated on Sportings matches.
By Xpike Go To Postalso madrid having so many injuries, maybe fio should use that mbappe money to buy an actual physioAmen.
Fair play to Chelsea, no-one had them as favourites to reach the final especially when Lampard got sacked lol, but Tuchel has done really well since taking over

Fuck your CL semi final, Pogballah's better.

Rúben Amorim let out a few tears after we scored the second goal, he has pulled out a miracle.
People were betting on us probably ending behind Braga and that Benfica would absolutely dominate the league before the season started and especially after we got eliminated from the Europa League on the qualification playoffs and look how things are now, we are 20 points ahead of Braga and 13 ahead from Benfica.
Now we wait comfortably to see what Porto does. A loss tomorrow against Benfica and a draw against Farense on Monday would makes us champions even before we play Boavista.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostHonestly hope we get Real Madrid so we fucking smash them. Would be so super sweet. If not, I'll take Porto. Or really anyone, I don't care. I wouldn't discount us vs. any of the remaining teams just like I didn't when we drew Atletico and was supposed to be fearful of Argentine Sean Dyche.
City to draw Grimsby Town
Only I believed, my son
edit: that same page has Horse ominously predicting the return of N'Golo Kante.
