By LabouredPatriot Go To PostAs with all things in football, the only thing that matters is the right palms were greased.
By Linius Go To PostDon't expect too much from the Dutch team given the opposition. But we'll see I guess. With less than 7 minutes to go, the Dutch are managing to hold France to a 1-1 draw.
I started watching in the 25th minute. And fair play to the Dutchies. France had it’s moments but nothing spectacular.
Also, no offside.

Any of you lads have a goal you saw live but your memories are all of the TV replays? Like this goal
I was there that night and I screamed when I saw him cock his leg to shoot "DON'T FUCKING SHOO--" then he scored and it was the first time I hurt myself at a football match.
But every time I remember it, it's this replay. Even when i was a teenager and I thought of this goal to get rid of the random erections, it was the tv replays. big shame. great goal.

The Trent corner v Barca.
Saw him walk away, turn around, then just limbs everywhere. Memories of that are so hazy.
This
Pumas stadium is an olympic stadium, so you are already pretty far away from the action. I was sitting in the second level around the half of the pitch, so I saw this goal from behind the player more or less. In my mind the angle was fucking insane but I happened so fast, but I just remember this. About one of the last times I went to the stadium as well. Fuck, has it really been 10 years... RIP.

I do remember seeing the ball loop up, but we were on the other end of the pitch so it was hard to see what was going on. But in my head I always see the replay because as soon as we got out the ground we looked it up to see exactly what happened.
By Cleff Go To PostSilly that they're dropping their two best crossers and set piece men, especially when you've got a player called Slabhead in your team.

He can't direct a header for shit and half the time he gets called for climbing all over peoples backs
Don't think we can draw too many conclusions about Slabhead's set piece abilities from our setup. He missed a few easy ones, true, but it's not like we know how to take advantage of (or defend for matter) them. Before he joined us, he was pretty competent at them.

Don't really recognise many of these u21 players. Maybe I'm out of the loop or maybe they're shit. Only time will tell
By Hitch Go To PostBeing unable to convert a simple header from 4 yards has little to do with the set-up imoIt doesn't necessarily, but that wasn't the only issue. And like I said, back at Leicester he was much better, he regressed under us and that's definitely down to our poor coaching.
