English teams have the highest UEFA coefficient over the past 5 years so they have factually done the best there is no debate.

Winning this final didsn't mean shit to us to be honest, but it was a big test for our manager and he failed in every front. Does not bode well for the future if we want to win things with him. But maybe he'll learn from the experience.
To me it condensed two main things:
1) We are scarily appalling at set piece defence and we need coaches fast. People like Carl Anka have reported how the players are just left to deal with it on the pitch and that's bad but without Maguire it's way worse.
2) Low blocks still fuck us even though we have two of the most creative passers in the world. Again this is an issue where players are left to find solutions on the pitch rather than coached on a set of reliable attacking instructions.
