My brother's watched a bit of that The Debate rubbish over the last few days, Adam McKola seems pretty unpleasant. Gets aggressive and sneering over absolutely nothing.

What a result tonight in La Bombonera for us! We qualified for round of 16 and remain top of the group with a game to spare! If you had told me before the tourney that we'd get 7 points out of 3 games with Boca and Santos, I'd ask for whatever drugs you're having. We're the only non-Brazilian or Argentine team to have qualified for Libertadores round of 16 so far. It's so nice to have the luxury of throwing away the last group stage game and focusing on the league. Emelec cunts have loaded up on brown envelopes this year, gonna be tough to win the first stage of our league with all the bullshit penalties and offside goals they're given.
Mackola is a wind-up merchant.
If you're referring to the Kick off. I mean, that kind of setup requires big media backing.
But I do like the cast, Rory, the big Geordie fellow, and the Liverpool supporter wihr n8's hair.

Was Red Men TV the one that resorted to homophobic ranting after the Liverpool - Chelsea match where Gerrard slipped?
Did they ever apologise for that?

By the way: what ever happened to the entire Lavazza vs El Neny thing?
By LFMartins86 Go To PostThe way he is handling Gonzalo Plata is also exemplary. This is extremely encouraging to read. He was the best player on our U-20 squad that got bronze in 2019 WC and they're so good they can't be kept off the senior squad lol. He's played well in our WC qualifiers and is a big reason we're in third right now. We're going to surprise people in Copa América. Speaking of, Colombia has lost co-hosting duties due to the protests. They wanted it postponed to November, Conmebol said no, someone else is going to get it instead. This was said during our Libertadores game. This Copa América is so fucking snake-bitten, I half-expect it to not happen.
Plata is an extremely talented winger but lacks the tactical knowledge. Amorim has put him as a RWB to force him to gain defensive responsibility and when he wasn't working hard in training, he was sent to the B team for a few months where he clearly learned his lesson and has been a more complete and smarter player since he returned to the main team.

I expected him to play more this year but it's clear that the club and Amorim have long term plans for Plata and this was an important year for him to learn a few things.
The talent is still there but I have seen him be so more tactical about his game in his last appearances.
Knows when to hold the ball and protect ball possession instead of trying to take on everyone, helps out a lot more in defense.
With the Champions League next season, the squad will have to rotate more and he will get more playing time.
It's 21 May in PISSLAND.
There is rain, over 20mph winds, and we've barely had a decent day of sunshine in the entirety of Spring.
Please just let me die.

He's just the best. Literally the best.
He does so much for local charities etc too...https://nufoundation.org.uk/allan-saint-maximin-named-pfa-community-champion-for-charity-work-with-newcastle-united-foundation/
And he's honest about where the club is and where it is going (for context this was a reply about his recent interview where he spoke about the club being in relegation fights every season, not trying for cups etc etc)....
KING
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostAye he seems a top lad.I am highly disappointed.
By Merseyside-batong Go To PostHeartbreaking for Will when he goes to a top six club.
Honestly I'd be happy for him, I hope we keep him for another year and hopefully (lol) in that time get a takeover sorted that might reignite some ambition in the club.
If not....I want him to stay in the PL, I want to watch him every week.

Loooooool. An offer including Kepa is an interesting flex.
By Scum Go To PostSancho to Man Utd
Kane to City
Son to Bayern
Kepa to Spurs
Kane to City seems like the most logical step, he'll win trophies with all the quality players around him
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostThat's fine because the financials will absolutely not stack up.
With Kane going to City and Halland being priced out of a move, getting Ronaldo in for a low transfer fee could be a successful short term move allowing Sancho to come along too. The commercial boost would pay his wages no doubt. And he could be a very positive influence for the likes of Greenwood and Rashford.
Probably not happening.
