Obviously Hitch got the news about Prince Phillip before the rest of us and is having trouble managing his grief.
Would be amazed if Hitch didn't have some small framed portrait photos of The Queen dotted around the house.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostPretty incredible that they sacrifice a good coach for that director of sport that's been pulling a lot of questionable moves.

Was really looking forward to seeing James McClean too
By Cleff Go To PostN8 is looking rough these days.
By Pedja Go To PostWhat's been going on with that director? The whole thing is a bit complicated.
In principle, there have been two bosses at Bayern for quite some time.
Hoeness, who decided almost everything on his own for a long time, and Rumenigge.
I hate both of them, but that's another topic.
In recent years, there has been a lot of disagreement between the two. After Hoeness got out of jail, he really wanted to show the world again what a great guy he is.
In any case, this dispute between the two was a recurring topic. Especially when it came to the next coach.
Rumenigge wanted Tuchel, and Tuchel wanted him as well. But because Hoeness stalled him too long and he wanted someone else, it fell through.
Niko Kovac, a former player, came in but he had little experience with a team of this standing. The whole thing was a huge misstep and next Rumenigge could choose his candidate with Flick.
At the same time, however, Hoeness had installed Salihamidzic, a sports director who is very close to him and tends to represent his interests. At the beginning, it was quite funny because no one really took him seriously and everyone knew that the big transfers were more likely to be handled by Hoeness/Rumenigge.
In addition, Salihamidzic has done a few very questionable things. He brought internal information from contract negotiations into the public eye because he leaked the information to some journalists.
That was the case with Neuer, as well as with Alaba. There were alleged figures mentioned that both would have demanded huge wages, which never matched the truth.
In the first year with Flick though, things went very well with the triple. Even if some transfers like Hernandez have left a big question mark.
For example, a Perisic worked very well and was the ideal rotation player.
This season, however, the whole thing looks different. The tight game plan, Corona infections within the team, and some injuries are forcing some players to play through although a break would be necessary. Flick has expressed it probably internally, that they had last year a much stronger team. The transfers have not worked. Leroy Sane needed after his cruciate ligament rupture a bit of start-up time. Douglas Costa is not convincing in any way. The new right defender Bouna Sarr is also not convincing, so that Parvard continued to play there, despite his lack of form. Or it has drawn Niklas Süle to the position, although he is a central defender and his stature doesn't really fit the position.
They lost Thiago and thus a very important component.
In addition, there are points that were negative at least for Flick. The theater around Alaba what I have already mentioned, which he would have kept, if he had the choice. And in the meantime also with Boateng, whom he would have liked to keep, where Salihamidzic and Rumenigge have already made it clear and public that the contract will not be extended.
Salihamidzic has internally tried a few times to get Flick to rotate more.
Flick does not want this, because the quality is then no longer given and he makes Salihamidzic responsible for bad transfers.
The whole thing is now such a game that is discussed both internally and in public.
Every week there are either questions about Boateng, about Flick's future, etc..
It looks very much like Flick has simply had enough of it and is looking more at the position at the DFB.
As an outsider, I can just not understand why Bayern is taking so much risk. Especially because a radical change will take place. Boateng, Alaba, plus some question marks such as Süle.
Although Upamecano will be brought in, but that's just one player. When you got someone like Hernandez who is only playing as CB when everyone else is injured.
In principle, you scare away a manager who has brought the triple, because you fight this small war in the top management. Hoeness isn't even in a n offcial position within the club anymore and Rumenigge is also training his sucessor with Oliver Kahn and will step down in a year or two.
