Mané has been embarassing. Should have been subbed off instead of Jota. That 2nd half was a better effort but Real were well deserved winners. Was pretty comfortable for them in the 1st half.
For all that Liverpool put in another shocker, that second goal not being ruled out is a huge kick in the teeth. Liverpool should be going to the second leg knowing a goal will put them through.
Kabak was probably Pool's motm, he's actually looking like a quality defender now which is surprising.

Maybe the worst Mane performance I can remember, and he's had much more obvious shockers. Just been bullied to the floor before he can even think about getting a pass away, let alone attempting it. Militao and Vasquez have completely shut him down, and when they haven't he's run into someone anyway.
Needed to want it more, and we clearly didn't in the first half. Give us a 10% chance of going through.

It’s a bromance in the making clearly.
Next season
Foden playing balls to haaland
All under the guidance of GOAT
By Eternity Go To PostMane shiite, adds nothing to Liverpool.
Steady on
My two takeaways are that we can't play effectively without two fast CBs and that the whole team are wrecked, legs are gone.
I wonder what club teams have the highest number of players going away on Euro duty this summer. Because those teams could really be fucked next year, so many players are clearly running on fumes and we're only at the beginning of April

We will probably be up there, off the top of my head:
Walker, Stones, Foden, Sterling, Mendy, Cancelo, Zinchenko, Bernardo, Torres, Rodri, Gundo

No friendlies, etc. Just jumped right back in. Can envision a slow start again next season due to this.
Funny image. Looks like a mascot next to him.

By FootbalIFan Go To PostWho is better lookingFoden is a nice looking guy with a bit of a tragic haircut, got that council chav in him innit. Haaland is not very handsome. I think he could be with perhaps a more defined haircut.. get him the Aguero or something like that and we might be on to something.
Haaland or Foden

Would love to hear that in your Floridian (?) accent, Meier lol

Very cool

Foden: "Did you like the way we paid off the ref to disallow your first goal?"
Haaland: "Yeah that was great, we're used to playing in a league with a cunt team so that made us feel right at home."
Foden: "Can't wait for next season when you're in the Premier League."
Haaland: "You'll have to tell me where you get your cereal bowl haircut from so i'll avoid that hairdressers. See you next season at the Manchester derby."

Council house and violence
no it's not an acronym
Jude Bellingham being as good as he is at 17 is really outrageous. Obviously there were huge expectations of him on the back of his great season for Birmingham and that's why they paid a lot, but to be that far along is amazing. Thank god Utd didn't get him.
England really do have some exceptional young talent.. Southgate is a fine coach, but I wonder if he is good enough to really get the most out of all these guys. I hope England wins the Euros.

Damn.
Just saw how many players Italy and Turkey got a covid infection after that last WC qualifier games.
Turkey had like 16 positive cases out of 28 players? Madness...

I bet if they were playing Chelsea he would. Chelsea fans would look after him for sure.
Sporting's medical team are saying that it's nothing short of a miracle that Nuno Mendes wasn't seriously injured after this, still going to miss at least a couple of games.
