By LabouredPatriot Go To Post"using the club credit card" like Kroenke is supposed to be paying for Arsenal's transfers with his own money? What does it matter whether Arsenal pay upfront or over several years? Transfers don't work like car financing
If he isn't being played, then it's probably best for him that he leaves. He'll likely do well at a top half club at the very least.
Mental though, he's still our top scorer this season I think?

By Kidjr Go To PostWhy, Tammy isnt good enough for Chelsea.
He's the clubs best striker and he's homegrown. Think given a proper chance he could get very good.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostI mean neither is Werner or Havertz but they're not being sold.
Havertz is player of the league 22/23.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostI mean neither is Werner or Havertz but they're not being sold. The German bias at display at Chelsea is sickening really.
Werner is so bizarre to me.
His stats are decent. If he put away even half of the chances he's missed this season, I don't think there'd be many issues with him.
But, as yesterday and West Ham proved, he's just missing chances you absolutely have to score from. That will supercede everything else when looking back on his season.

Agreed but they were literally brought last year so unlikely to happen . Tammy has been with them for years, so yeah.
I do have a sneaking suspicion Tuchel's been specifically tasked by Roman et al with getting more out of their shiny new signings and therefore Tammy has been jettisoned for that reason (and not so much for his performances per se).

By Cleff Go To PostThe briefs have begun.
Being in and around opportunites gets me hard.
As frustrating as it is seeing Werner fluffing all these big chances at least he is showing up in the right positions to score. If he could sort his finishing out he could be prolific. For a while he was absolutly terrible on the ball but that seems to be improving lately and he makes decent runs in behind.
Havertz has been just as bad but he is kind of going under the radar because he goes missing against decent opposition.

Yeah, think Havertz has been quite a bit worse than Werner. Werner will probably score loads of these chances next season too.
When you get in scoring positions as often as Werner it’s only a matter of time before it translates into goals. Suarez used to smash them against the bar or inches wide, game after game, until boom.

Iheanacho has just shown that players eventually convert scoring chances into goals, even if luck is really poor for a long time. I can't imagine Werner racked up 20+ goal season in the Bundesliga by being a bad finisher
By Lego Go To PostIf Rashford could finish he’d have about 35 goals this season
I always had Rashford pinned as a pretty clinical finisher, who does well from half-chances, rather than someone who finds himself missing sitters.
By Scum Go To PostYou’ll do the same thing too, Plasma.I'd have to buy a house first!
By Scum Go To PostOi, Laboured. Where’s my ‘Kane said something about trophies so that means he’s leaving.” tweets?
He's getting Zaha'd m8.
Do you think Kane would rather score at his current rate and be England/PL’s highest scorer ever or win the PL without scoring or assisting all season?

Unless Kane moves to one of the cheats or Bayern, he's hardly guaranteed a major trophy. We've seen a lot of teams go through long fallow periods

The play was to make him the striker, but unfortunately managers think speed = wings. Has lost his eye for the goal in the process. He runs alot thought...
Guy's been playing with injury for almost 2 seasons and has one of the better scoring rates in the league as a wide forward and is exceeding his xG but ok.
It's only because I believe Rashford has all it takes to become top 3 in the world. 10 goals in the PL, has less goals per match than the previous season.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostI mean neither is Werner or Havertz but they're not being sold.Nonsense. Havertz has performed well when he’s actually played in his position and Werner has been solid too besides the meme chances. Both will come good especially Havertz who is still a youth.
There's a vocal minority of United fans online who really don't appreciate how good Rashford has become. If we were trying to sign him from a rival club we'd easily be looking at spending £80m+ on him.

Surely Kroenke can be...coerced to sell.
Horse is right. Rashford needs a break.
